Putting it together.... I could tell it was cheap quality. (Indicative also of the poor packaging it came in. See photo.) And after it was complete, and I sat in it for a few hours I could tell I didn’t get the deal I thought I was getting. It’s definately not what you would expect of a $150 chair. Unfortunately, I haven’t located a similar style chair that has all the capabilities that this chair has. It’s quite customizable. Back tilt, seat tilt, tilt tension, height of back. It’s not as comfortable for larger people (I’m 6’0” 275lbs) But it’s adequate. It gets higher (24” total) than my other chair which I like. More breathable than my black leather one. And the lumbar support is much better than I had before, but not as good as I expected. Also, the lumbar support isn’t adjustable, which I knew ahead of purchasing, but would have been a nice touch that some other upscale chairs have. All in all, better than what I had, but kind of a disappointment. Wasn’t prime eligible, so I’m not going to go through the hassle of returning. If I can find one that has all the same options that I’m looking for that’s better quality I might just sell this one on Facebook marketplace. UPDATE: Moved to one star. Had it for a week now. Ordered and assembled, worked great for a few weeks, and then the seat tilt adjustment went out. Looks like the mechanism just stopped holding as firm as it used to and there is a bit of sliding and play in the seat when trying to tilt it.

I really wanted to like this chair and gave it a shot but like other reviewers I found it had two inherent problems. The first and biggest problem is that the seat has a general tilt forward that cannot be resolved with adjustments. I always felt like my legs were leaning forward and even when I rested my feet on the ring never felt like a secure seat. The second problem is the ring itself as others have mentioned it's just not quite large enough to easily rest my legs on. I am 5 ft 9 and found I had to hook my feet in the ring to get them to stay. I also had my husband try it in the lowest position as a desk chair and he too did not find that it was comfortable even with his feet resting on the ground instead of relying on the ring for support as I did in the drafting table height. ... show more
