So in all honesty we were struggling with chairs around our new island. We needed 6 and chairs are so expensive. We wanted them to fit under the counter but we wanted a bit of a back. So far these have worked great. Price is great, easy to assemble and sturdy. If you have small children i would not recommend the swivel for the pinching of fingers. I also give 3 stars on comfort. If you plan to sit for hours in them then pass but for an hour and under they work great. I am 6’2 230 and I find them to be just fine. Hope this review helps. I bought these for the grandkids, they have the ansty tushes and didn't sit still on the swivel stools I had. The granite countertop was taking a beating from the old stools.
