I purchased these stools for our kitchen island to add some extra seating for our family when they come to visit and the product is exactly as advertised. They came disassembled in a large box with all the required screws and an Allen key to assemble the chairs. The instructions were pretty clear on how to assemble them and I had few issues doing so. The upholstery is a little stiff, but the low back and arm rests are nice. The base of the chair has adjustable rubber studs to eliminate the chair wobbling. The reason I won't give 5 stars for these chairs in because the screws are painted which causes some resistance when putting the stool together, and after assembling two of them, my fingers were hurting pretty bad because of the small Allen key being the only tool provided to put them together. Also, one of the chair bases was COVERED in metal shavings that got all over the floor when I opened the box. I did end up returning one of the three chairs I bought because I underestimated how large they are, but the seller was very easy to work with for the return process. It took me forever to find counter stools and i am so happy with how these turned out! The dark navy fabric is lux and gold isn't tacky. Looks very classic and elevated. Good quality and easy to put together. Would definitely recommend. cushions are comfy too!!!
