The back of the rocker isn’t padded well. It doesn’t rock hard so if you’re buying this to have something specifically to rock in then I’d pass. Size wise it’s a bit bigger than a child’s chair height wise. It looks cute and fits well with my decor but it’s not the best rocking chair. Update* rocking chair is already falling apart. This is a great chair. I bought it when I was in my 3rd trimester and I was able to install and put it together on my own. It’s pretty light weight too so I was able to drag it where ever I needed it. I’m 142lbs pregnant, 5’3” and I fit perfectly in the chair and I sit low enough to where I get head rest. If I were to sit all the way back my feet would not touch the ground. My husband is 5’8” and 180 lbs and he also fits comfortably and has enough room at the top for head rest. If he sits all the way back his feet are able to touch the floor. I’ve now given birth and I’m still comfortable in the chair. It’s cushiony and has good support. I will say it’s closer to the ground than most chairs but it’s not a big issue. It rocks well and we’ve had no issues and we’ve had this for roughly 2 months now. ... show more

I assembled this myself (female 32 yo:) and it was super simple and only took me about 30 minutes… with two active toddlers distracting me throughout. I love that it looks more modern than the normal rocking chairs but still is comfortable. I purchased this to be a temporary nursing chair and then a permanent reading chair once baby moves to her own room. It’s beautiful! It is more of a true beige/cream. While the pictures may seem more ivory. But I still really like the color - and with kids in the house I imagine it will hide more over time. I love it! ... show more

Absolutely love this rocking chair. So easy to assemble, comfortable and looks great in my nursery. Original I thought the fabric looked like a velvet but it's not. Still super soft and easy to clean dog hair off of it. 10 out of 10 I recommend. Also, shipping did take longer but so worth it.
