I’m 5’11” and this scooter fits me perfectly. It’s very comfortable, folds up easily, and rides incredibly smooth. The adjustable handlebar makes it easy to find the right position, which is a big plus. It also comes with three interchangeable color plates — red, blue, and silver — so I can change the look whenever I want. I’ve even gotten a few compliments from friends about how nice it looks. Purchased for my husband who’s diagnosed with MS and has mobility issue. The scooter was easy to assemble and operate and we were very pleased with the product. He’s 280 lbs and I was skeptical if he would comfortable on it but no problems ..he zooms around with comfort. Thank you for giving him back some mobility.. great product and price ... show more

It's a nice scooter and gets you from point A to point B but.... I don't think the description is fair about the user's height.....it says 5'11" and I am 5'6" and don't feel comfortable. It feels too short, and cramped and the seat seems to pitch forward a little. I did not find it comfortable and wanted to send it back and get the next size up scooter for a little more money. Unfortunately, I did not read the instructions closely enough and it was gonna cost $350 to return!!! That was NOT in my (fixed income) budget! So I am keeping it and using it but am NOT as happy with it as I was with my last scooter from a different company. The customer service responds quickly and is very helpful to deal with. Just read all the fine print before you purchase and, if you can, find a place that sells them so you can try it before you buy it.. I am going to start saving again so I can sell this one (at a loss, I am sure) and get a different scooter. The scooter itself is nice and it folds easily and my daughter is able to get into the car herself. I have to assume some responsibility because I did not read the fine print about returns closely enough. ... show more

I’ve had MS for 22 years. I’ve done really well and was able to keep working for the first 10 years but now I’ve been off for quite a few years. My eldest grandson graduated from high school and wanted to do Walt Disney World for his graduation present. I have always rented a scooter either from Walt Disney World itself or from an offside company. Will they have really gotten expensive to rent. Disney World was $68 a day. The price of scooters to buy have also come down a great deal. So I started doing a lot of online looking and I started with Amazon. The scoot and go was one of the first ones I looked at, and it seemed to fit a lot of my needs. We usually fly and I wanted one that I could drive up to the gate drop it down into a smaller size and they would put it under the plane with strollers for me. Then when I got to my destination, it would be there with the other strollers waiting for me. And that’s exactly what I got. I also got great online and by phone information for them when I had questions and believe me I had quite a few lol. But to have somebody answer your email within a day and actually talk to a real person when you call them was the greatest thing ever. I even felt like on my trip if I needed to contact them, they would be there for me. They were great. The only thing is it’s a little heavier than I estimated. I believe it said 45 to 50 pounds in the information and having been a nurse for years I thought that that would be no problem. Well, it was a problem and even now I have to take the battery out to put it in my trunk and it seems very heavy. I get it there but my son and husband whip it in and out like it’s no big deal. So if you have somebody that can help you, it works better. This one did not have a wire basket on the front and I thought I would really miss it, but the cloth basket was a zipper worked perfectly. There was a place underneath my seat that I could put bags from shopping and I had no problem shopping and storing things. If you’re having trouble with your ambulation, this is a scooter for you. Now it said the weight limit for it was 300 pounds. I am 5‘3“ and I weigh 130 pounds. My legs were just the right size from the controllers to the seat and I feel like if I had been much taller or much heavier it would’ve been a different story. If you’re a bigger person I would say over 200. I would look for a larger scooter. Maybe not as easy to transport but much easier to ride in. Have fun scoot and go is a really good company. Great wheelchair! Easy to use. The only issue we had was that hubby is 6’4” and his legs are uncomfortable when riding. Other than that, the mobility is awesome! It gives him back his independence. It folds easily. The quality is superior.
