Nice coop for 4 chickens but not enough room for them to hang out in, highly recommend a run or free range with this coop. I also upgraded the roof to tin, use 2x2 underneath to secure metal(toss the cheap canvas it comes with), installed an automatic door and charged out the roosting bars to 2x2 and elevated them. (1 roosting bar is all you need for 4 birds. I bought 8" wall hangers to mount the roosting bars and elevated them 6" to give chicken and they're poop room to not touch...) Use sand and PDZ on bottom for easy clean-up, you can thank me later works great for smell also. Smallish rake and dust pan for picking up droppings, you'll be good to go. Thanks for reading!

The media could not be loaded. It arrived days earlier than expected! I pit it together and it's really cute. Not the most sturdy but will serve fine as a grower and possibly a home for 3 bantams. There was a small piece for the roof that fell off out of the box but it is just decorative so I'm not mad. For the price I am very happy with it!

We received our coop in a good timely manner and received it on May 6th and it is now May 17th. Our chickens have been outside barely a week since buying this coop and at first it was great. Recently we had a incident where one of our chickens were taken. This coop isn't full predator safe. The latch on the nesting box is helpful, but our issue didn't come from the nest box. It came from the tray. The tray does not have a latch on it and the raccoon was able to pull the tray out just enough in the middle of the night and pulled one of our chickens through the smallest gap from the tray. They tray wasn't even pulled out all the way and our chickens are not babies so she wasn't small and she was actually our bigger chicken. I'm very upset over this and thought our girls would be safe in this coop. You can see in a few pics that we did have to add extra locks and that fortunately helped for overnight last night, but the raccoon did come back with a force and tried ripping the coop apart even with extra locks and really left some damage to our coop. Luckily none of our other girls were hurt, but I'm very upset that this coop wasn't as safe as I had hoped. It's cute and not hard to build and good size, but you will have to make some adjustments for incidents like this. I'm very disappointed by this and we have made even more adjustments to our coop since last night as well.

Shipping was fast and assembling the coop was fairly straightforward. It arrived with a broken corner but that was fixable. It’s small but hopefully will be big enough for my 4 chickens if I let them free range. It’s definitely not big enough for 4 birds if you plan on keeping them locked up. It’s difficult to move by yourself and feels flimsy when moving. Overall, it’s okay, not great. After the high shipping cost it was over $200. I’m hoping for that price it will last.

I purchased this coop to raise new chicks before going into a larger coop this coop could hold up to 4 full size hens to sleep only as the run is only large enough for maybe one hen to live but hens should not live alone, but to sleep and leave open so hens can free range during the day but have a place open during the day to lay their eggs then yes 4 hens could share this unit if free range during the day but really this coop is perfect for graduating 6 week old chicks into free range hens the only thing that could be better is a deeper drawer other than that you will need to water seal this unit for it to last 3 to 5 years as is I suspect only 1 year on the Florida weather as is so I will seal it first chance I get

Several of the pieces arrived damaged. Lots of assembly required. The screws will cause the wood to split because nothing is pre-drilled. Some screw won't hold. Brackets don't align. Overall not worth the money.
