I first received this couch with warped parts, so assembly was impossible. I was disappointed but I was sent a second replacement couch within a reasonable timeframe, so with that- I was satisfied. Assembly: When assembling the couch the second time, we had to pull parts from the original shipment, to compensate for two of the new parts being slightly warped. However, the instructions were easy enough to follow. The biggest problem with assembly is the brackets, which serve as the central legs- they don’t totally snap or click in securely, even with the strength of three people and swapping out the old and new pieces several times. Everything was aligned well enough though, so it don’t take long to screw pieces in. Sturdiness: When one or two people sit on the couch, there is significant clicking and wobbling, particularly in the back frame and center of the couch. It holds us up thus far, so I can’t say that it isn’t sturdy, but it doesn’t always feel secure. Also, lifting the couch from either end to simply turn it caused the center brackets to come apart, so we had to drag it on the floor. Comfort: Surprisingly, once getting over the fear of it collapsing under us, it’s pretty comfortable so far. I like the slightly springy cushions and I wish the back cushions were the same. I also love the moveable ottoman with storage, it makes the size and shape flexible for any space. Value for Money: Honestly, for all its faults- it is a cheap couch and you get what you pay for. Everyone’s definition of cheap may differ but I feel that it’s a cheaply manufactured couch, so you pay a pretty cheap price. Do I wish my 300 dollars went a bit further in quality? Yes. But for as long as it holds us up, I am satisfied with the cost for what I received. Decent “first couch.”

If you just need a couch real quick once you have moved this would be your best bet. Or if you live in a smaller apartment. The cushions are not as comfortable as I would like but I may add extra padding in the inside of it. Took me 3 hours to put it together by myself not to bad . They sent me blue instead of grey and I was a little disappointed and dissatisfied about that.

Update - the seller reached out to me and offered me a partial refund due to the defects of the couch. I appreciate the kind customer service! Couch arrived and while this piece of furniture won’t be used much, that’s probably a good thing. One of the skirt panels doesn’t match up to the holes, and I don’t have a way to correct that. The back frame of the couch is incredibly flimsy, and I don’t know how it would support someone leaning against the cushions except with the couch backed up against the wall. Find another couch to buy…this will disappoint.

The couch arrived in one mangled box, despite the $99 delivery fee, which should have been my first clue. The assembly took far too long because many holes did not match up and the instruction manual had no words (only pictures). The foundation of the couch is only metal rods so the back part feels extremely flimsy. You can feel the metal rods through the very thin cushions, making it uncomfortable to sit on. The back of the couch is not tall, so the back cushions fold over the top, which is uncomfortable and unsightly. The ottoman does indeed have storage, but the ottoman cushion is too large and does not velcro/stay on top. Overall I am very disappointed with this couch. I had very high expectations based on the reviews and photos. I was expecting more, even with the cheap price. But I'd say if you'd like to lounge on a couch in your home, this is not the couch for you. If you plan to stage a living room as a realtor, this is definitely the couch for you. It's fine for superficial use, not every day use.

The couch does not look like in pictures. This couch looks cheap and the Velcro is cheap and doesn’t stick very well. Very disappointed in the quality and is not comfortable to sit on. Difficult to put the couch together as well. Update on my previous review: costumer service contacted me and apologized for my experience. Good costumer service.

The instructions weren’t very clear which led to 3 hours of frustration. The middle back leg had a piece that wouldn’t let us unscrew the bolt and had to just prop the back of the couch on it and hope it holds it. The back of the couch is very very flimsy but if you put it against a wall it is perfectly fine. When putting the ottoman together the piece that holds the leg snapped clean off so we ended up assembling it without the legs which ultimately is ok but I wish that the parts were a little stronger. Aside from the horrible directions and a few bad parts I would say the couch is good for a starter. We got it for our first apartment and love the color and price, obviously you get what you pay for in the end.

I just got this couch and love it. It’s comfy for me and my little ones. It’s what I expected for the lower price. I’m giving it four starts because the directions are HORRIBLE. After being nearly finished I realized I put on the sides of the couch on backwards. 🤦🏾♀️ It was a fair easy fix but if the directions were a bit clearer or the pieces were labeled I wouldn’t have had any issues. I’m pretty sure I was missing a nut. I ended up getting one at a local hardware store. Overall it took about 2 hours to put it together by myself. I am thinking about getting couch foam to give the back a bit more cushion. But so far no real complaints. Update: I've had the couch for 10 days. The couch is great. It's very comfy. However, one leg of the ottoman broke. I've glued it back together but it was a disappointment. I haven't used it as storage so I'm not sure why it broke. We've sat on it a few times. Just beware that the legs of the ottoman may be weak.
