As you may be able to tell from the pictures, I needed a longer coax subwoofer cable. This one fit the bill quite nicely and the sound is just as good as my other one. This one has a cloth covered cable as my other one was rubberized. I like the right angle plug on one end.

This subwoofer cable is just a touch better than the free cables typically included with devices. The nylon braiding feels cheap and has the appearance of those cables sold at the dollar shop. Sound quality-wise, it will work for most non-HiFi applications, like connecting a soundbar to a subwoofer. If you are building a HiFi home theater and looking for HiFi-quality cable, look elsewhere. For a little bit more money, you can find much better cables here on Amazon. For reference, I included in the photo my old DIY cable that cost me less than $10 to make, and I think that the difference is evident - the RCA connectors are much more robust, and my old cable is not even an expensive one. This cable’s RCA connectors are tinny and lack elasticity around the rim, making them not fit as snugly as a quality cable would. ... show more
