I have a 1970’s Hobart kitchen aide mixer and never used a slide before . I thought the slide would fit the base of my old mixer . It does not follow the footprint of my mixer . That said i used it anyway and it’s great . I have no complaints and it does make it easier to pull out the mixer when I need to . It’s easy to clean , slides very well , it blends in well so really not noticeable but functional . So I kept it . And I am happy with it .

I have to review this after seeing a few of the negative reviews. I gave away the professional 7 qt Kitchen Aid because it was just too big and heavy for me. I purchased the 5 qt Artisan Kitchen Aid, but still need to pull it out from under the counter. The Artisan fits PERFECTLY on this pad, not a bunch sticking out over the edge. Exactly what I wanted. It slides out perfectly but is barely visible on my counter.
