I use this mat with my new kitchenaid mixer. I have a 5 qt. artisan style cast iron mixer. Because the mixer is so heavy, I am unable to keep it in an overhead cupboard like I did with my previous mixer. This mat allows me to store it back in a corner of my stone tile counter and gently slide it out to use. It does exactly what I needed it to do. It seems sturdy and will hopefully last for a long time.

The Oudizz sliding mats allow me to move my 5qt. Kitchen aid mixer very easily along my counter. It fits perfectly in the front, but not so perfectly in the back which means the portion that sticks out on the side could get dirty. I was able to wipe up the flour that dropped on it but can’t speak to how easy it will be to clean up if batter were to splatter on it. Overall, so far, I love how easy it is to now move and the mixer stays in place even when mixing at medium high speeds.

I purchased this product for a gift, but I purchased a similar one for myself in order to slide my mixer out from the corner of the counter and back again with ease. It works amazingly well and is camouflaged under the mixer so looks great also!

I was skeptical how this would work. Turns out it works great and very handy purchase. The plastic utensils not so much with the mat works great! Update: I take it back…the plastic/ silicone utensils work great for scraping the mayonnaise and peanut butter out of jars completely!
