I already own 2 Miracase phone holders and use them on both drivers and passenger side in my car. I purchased them in 2020. We use them every day. Best cell phone holder ever! Miracase is so good that when they came out with a new model (this upgraded holder) I purchased one for my husband's car. It is easy and intuitive to put together and install- clips easily to the horizontal air vents. One new feature that I really like is the fixed bottom 'feet' that the phone sits on doesn't accidentally move to one side or the other. It has a 'lock open' feature so it's easy to lay the phone into the holder, and then it snaps closed around my phone as it presses against a button behind the phone. Previous experience with Miracase leads me to expect it to be sturdy and long-lasting. Quality product and very helpful and respectful correspondence with the owners. UPDATE: A year after purchasing this phone holder, the clip that holds onto the car vent broke and would no longer hold tightly. I reached out to customer service and they responded within hours with a very friendly reply, asking for details and pics. After sending them a picture and a short video of the problem, they immediately responded with a confirmation that they would be happy to send me a replacement part. They did and it works perfectly. I bought one of these for my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe and was delighted with how easy and secure it mounted to the vents. In addition, the process for placing the phone and removing it is second to known. Add the extremely reasonable price and I’m grinning from ear to ear. This holds onto the vent in your car. It has an extra little hook thing that really makes it secure, so that part is great. It does grip the phone really well and feels like it has a great hold on it. For me, the downside is just that my phone barely fits in it. This is the problem I have found with every single phone holder I have come across. I have a popsocket and I can't find a single phone holder that considers that. I don't know why. Why not just make phone holders slightly deeper? Honestly, my phone case is super thin... so what if I just had a bulky phone case and no popsocket? And what harm does it cause to be a little deeper even for the phones without a popsocket? So that part is frustrating. But, that's really my only complaint with this one. It's otherwise very secure. My phone phone in particular is not very secure because it is barely clinging to it due to having a small popsocket on the back. ... show more

It holds the phone in place, doesn’t fall off the vent, and is deep enough to hold my phone in its case. Up until a few days ago, I'd have given this a five-star review. it holds nice, and sturdy to the vent in my 2015 f150, and installs quickly with minimal effort. The only real knock on it at least until a couple of days ago is that it is slightly shakey when driving at highway speeds. Sadly I had to repurchase this item just three months out of warranty. As per my usual routine when getting into my truck I put my phone into the holder, and grab my phone to adjust the holder to make any slight adjustments needed for line of sight when all of a sudden the cradle snapped off from the base. The mount grips the phone very securely. I love the quick grip system: pressing the phone to the back of the mount releases the spring loaded arms which snap in and grip the phone. To remove the phone, pressing levers on both sides of the phone press the arms apart and lock them in place, ready for the next time to hold the phone. I’ve tried at least 2 other cell phone holders (other brands) for the car. The first one was a cup holder type mount which was just okay, but I give that one low marks because it took away from my already limited cup holder space and also the base was flimsily light and thus it was too top heavy and I had to continually adjust it to keep it seated. I ended up giving it away. The second was one was a vent-mounted type holder, which was better, but not very secure, if I hit a bump or pothole or something both phone and holder would fall off the dash and onto the floor. Also, that one was a tension-style grip which kept breaking the rhinestones off the sides of my jeweled phone case. Nope. When I saw the video for the Miracase vent-mount phone holder, I really liked what I saw, so I ordered one. Amazon offered me a lightening deal and delivered it the same day. (Bonus points!) Once I opened the package, I was truly delighted, not only with the beautiful product, but the with the beautiful packaging as well! Thank you note included along with lifetime guarantee! Nice touch!! The mount assembled easily and quickly and I installed it in my car right away. Tried it out- works like a dream! No damage to my bejeweled phone case, either!
