The fan looks good, is quiet, smooth running and easy to hang. But I didn’t want the remote control. I already had smart home wall switches to control the fan speed and light so I didn't install the remote control module and just direct wired the fan. So if anyone is wondering about doing that, it was easy to do and worked fine. The only thing you lose is the ability to reverse the fan rotation because there isn't a physical switch on the fan. But by using Home Assistant software and smart wall switches, I gained the ability to automate when the fan and light come on based on all kinds of things like temperature, time of day, if anyone is home, etc. ... show more

Especially love the dimmer and illumination of the light and fan direction/speeds on the remote! No reason to use a wall-mounted switch! This is a large room with an 8 foot ceiling that is so much more comfortable due to design of the blades!     • Remote control is not designed for separate light and fan switches.

The fan is smooth and quiet and puts out a lot of air. It was fairly easy to install and looks great. My only issue is with the remote control. My fan and light are controlled with separate wall switches, and my light switch is wire via 3-way so you can turn it on and off from either side of the room. There is no way to wire the ceiling fan and light through the remote using separate switches. ... show more

I have installed a few around the house now. The style is great, much better than anything at the box stores. The quality is great too. The longest running one in the house now is over two years. I have not had the whining problem a few have complained about. They move a lot of air, and are much quieter than any of the fans I've had previously. They're easy to put together and install, maybe an hour if that. Someone complained that the blades are plastic. Because of the round configuration, I wouldn't want wood. Wood bent in that shape would warp over time. They look like wood and very aesthetically pleasing. Can't really say much more, except buy the wall switch as well. ... show more

This fan has a clean, modern look and quietly and efficiently circulates air through the room helping keep us cool and our bills low during an extended heat wave. The only downside is that the light doesn't dim very low and the dimming controls aren't very precise.

We were so happy with the fan that we bought and installed a second one in another room. Both are extremely quiet (as in silent), and move air very well. The remote is really handy. We had an issue where one of the fans started turning itself on and off at random times and I almost wrote a bad review, but after searching the documentation I learned this can happen after a power outage - which is when our problem started. It was a pretty easy process to reset it using only the remote control, so I'm happy again. ... show more

Motor way too loud for this price point.. clearly not a DC Motor and loudest fan in the house including cheap hampton bay and Hunter fans. The fan looks nice and feels very well made.. ashame the motor ruins it.
