I purchased this ceiling fan after having seen one in a friend's house. The company has done an excellent job engineering the fan. The most clever thing is a small hook on the mounting plate. This allows you to hang the motor of the fan on this hook while leaving both hands free to connect all of the electrical. What a brilliant idea. I was replacing an old fan so installation was very straightforward. Instructions were very clear. The company gives you tons of wire nuts, screws and face plates for any given installation. I'm sure this is not the cheapest fan on the market, but worth every penny. I really like it. I hope the fan blades don't yellow over time. Highly recommend. ... show more

I like this fan. Didn't take long at all to install. It is quiet. On the high fan setting, you can hear the wind. That being said, I have it in the bedroom and use the low setting to sleep. It has good air flow on low. I'm glad I read the other reviews regarding the light. Just hold the on button and it will change the amount of light. On high, it is very bright. This is a modern looking ceiling fan with terrible LED light flicker. For those who suffer from LED PWM flicker, this is not a good choice unless you are willing to buy a better quality replacement LED assembly and change it as we did.

My husband installed this, replacing it in a place we had another older old fashioned one. We just redid the kitchen, so I wanted a modern look. All the electrical was already there for him to work with. He said it was not too hard to install and joked it hasn't fallen down yet! It has been up 3 months. I have been running it around the clock, many days and nights. It is still quiet. The brand was recommended to me by a friend who installed 2 of them, so I knew I could bank on it being a good product. She raved about it, how quiet it was etc. I would recommend it highly. She had hers professionally installed, but my retired husband did a great job. The light is a bit dim, one of the energy efficient types that never needs replacing, if you can imagine that...we have other lights in our kitchen so it is ok. If it was you only light, you may not like it, unfortunately. It is a "romantic" type of low light. I would still have purchased it. ... show more

This fan is great! All of the components, and then some, mentioned in the description were provided in the box! I selected this fan because my electrician had mentioned this brand and it specifically came with a remote control and a wall switch. The fan moves a lot of air and is quiet.

This fan is terrific, nice and quiet. The seller was great! A remote was missing from the box, and the seller was VERY PROMPT in sending the missing remote. I was impressed and would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. We do have another fan from the same manufacturer so just be careful to make sure it is set up on a different frequency.
