I love this little camera and have been surprised at the powerful performance for such a tiny cam! I got this to keep an eye on my cats when I’m away. It works great and I feel reassured knowing they are safe. This camera can be mounted pretty much anywhere given the tiny size. Key Facts: • Simple operation! The camera itself has two buttons: one to turn power on/off and one to reset the settings. There is an optional base provided that simply twists on, no assembly or tools required. • App-based controls and monitoring. The camera must be operated through your Android or iPhone device. Provided instructions include a QR code to download the app, or you can search it in your Apple Store or on Google Play (O-Kam Pro). Once you have the app open, you create an account and register the device. It only took a 3-4 minutes to get this done. Once registered, you can change the settings for the camera and watch the feed from your phone. • WIFI-enabled camera. This does require a WIFI connection to work. The instructions request you to keep the camera within 2 meters of your router, but I was able to move it around the house and outdoor spaces without losing the connection, so it seems like after initial set up you can reposition it. • The camera is quite responsive and the picture is excellent. The images are clear and colors are accurate. A few times during testing I noticed a delay of 2-3 seconds between changing the angle and seeing the change on-screen, but this occurred some distance from the router and the WIFI signal may have been to blame. Most of the time it gives a live feed. Details are crisp and the camera “sees” a lot more than I would have expected given the size. • Includes a USB to USB-C charging cable. No batteries required. • Includes a little base with an adhesive panel for easy wall mounting. The base does allow the camera to be pivoted for the right picture, but I recommend ensuring you’re happy with the view before adhering. There are many smart uses for this device. • Nanny cam | Baby Cam • Supervise work being done in your home • Guard entry points like doors or windows • Record deliveries to reduce package theft • Monitor employee work performance remotely • Prevent shoplifting or vandalism at work • Trail cam (Keep protected from wet and extreme temperatures) • Travel security camera for hotel room

Easy setup good resolution
Setup was very simple despite bad reviews about it likely from less tech savvy users. The setup of almost all cameras is the same. Connect phone and camera to the same network and scan some QR codes. No big deal. And no you do not need to change your phone permanently to a 2.4g network. At first I was going to leave a bad review about horrible capture quality but then I realized I forgot to remove the plastic lens protector film. Once removed I saw the crisp high quality recording. I deducted a star due to battery life and the horrible reviews on the app. I haven't experienced an issue yet but clearly there are issues

Perfect to spy on your 3d printer!
Love this little camera! I got it to keep an eye on my 3d prints. My printer is in the basement and I got tired of running up and down the steps to check on it. This is tiny enough that it fit in my 3d printers enclosure. Just scan the QR code, download the app, and set up the WiFi. It was super easy. Comes with a mini stand and the bottom of the stand has a sticker. I stuck it to a candle just to give it some height and it worked perfectly. Never liked the Timelapse camera on my 3d printer and this will give me the ability to peek on a print without running up and down the steps.

Doesn’t connect to WiFi networks

Good picture and sound but short battery life
I set up this little camera in my "cat room", which is the room where we sequester one of our cats. The app was straightforward and easy to use setting up and connecting to our WiFi. In less than five minutes, the camera was up and running. It didn't have a full battery so I plugged it in using the micro USB cable provided with the camera until the battery showed fully charged then unplugged it. The picture quality for this tiny camera is really good, covering a wide section of the room. In the app, I can clearly see the area it covers and the sound is clear as well. My daughter who lives in another country was also able to download the app and easily access the video feed. She was able to clearly see our cat and hear me typing on the computer (in the room but out of camera view). There are a few downsides. The video feed is live and not recorded unless you purchase cloud storage, which I didn't do. I tried to set up the motion detection notifications and "human framing" feature thinking I'd be able to see our cat or when someone enters the room, but I never got any alerts. It's possible that it was human error but I'm not sure. The battery life is also an issue. The product description says no wiring is required, which is true; however, unless you have the camera plugged into power using the micro USB cable, the camera dies fairly quickly (about 6 hours or less). User friendly app and good video/picture quality and sound at a good price, but with a short battery life, trouble with motion detection, and no recorded video without a subscription. I think this camera is decent, but if I needed to use it as a nanny cam for kids, elderly, or security, this camera wouldn't quite cut it for me.

I thought “smart motion detection” meant it would follow the motion, but it’s static. It’s tiny, but has a decent picture (not fantastic, but not bad, either). Its motion detection might be a little too sensitive, even on the lowest sensitivity. I had it facing into a drawer and it kept detecting motion. (I’m guessing from subtle light changes.) It was pretty easy to set up, and it sends still shots to my phone when it detects motion. I haven’t been able to get it to record video when it detects motion, which is what I really want, but that might be because I don’t have a TF card yet. I turned it off, then plugged it in to charge, and it turned itself back on. Honestly, I’m finding it impossible to turn off without leaving it unplugged and waiting for the battery to run out (which takes a few hours). Caution: the motion detection alerts can become extremely irritating quickly, so make sure to put it on a sound you don’t mind hearing frequently (and I recommend turning off phone vibration) if you want that feature on. It’s often rather warm when it’s been on a while. Not overly hot, but you’ll want to make sure there’s room around it for heat to escape.
