Phenomenal Rolife kit - very involving compared to newer ones

Phenomenal kit, but very involving. If you're used to the later Rolife / Robotime kits where a lot of the pieces snap together, this will be a big upgrade in difficult for you. A lot of glue required to get this one together. That being said, it looks so good on display with the others, it was well worth the effort. It took me, probably around 20-ish hours to assemble it. Some pieces really wanted B-7000, and patience. It's very intricate. Individual paper flowers that all need to be constructed, so many small details. They all come together and look fantastic in the end though, I highly recommend this one!

I'm enjoying this kit but it's a difficult project for me
I've never really been an arts and crafts person, but I wanted to challenge myself and try something new during the lockdown period. I like this kit because there's not much creative input from the builder since all the directions are written out for you. Therefore, you just have to follow the directions and build! Should be easy... With that said, there are a few pieces of paperwork and metal wire bending that have been infuriating to put together. Several pieces require you to cut out complex shapes, fold them up like origami, and then glue them together so it doesn't unravel. Perhaps experienced craftsmen have special tricks to do this, but my fat fingers have a hard time. Shoutout to the two "candle stick holders" that took me over 75 minutes to fold, glue, and assemble and still turned out lopsided and ugly. Additionally, some of the objects requiring metal wire to be bent into right angles and curvy shapes is downright impossible to nail perfectly. Specifically, there's a metal storage rack that ruined my day when it kept falling apart as I assembled it... Despite this, I'm still enjoying the kit. The directions can be a little obtuse, and I've definitely skipped some directions in favor of "doing it my way". I had one issue where I cut into the green tissue paper in such weird ways that it was impossible for me to cut the correct dimensions for a the final few flowers. Not a huge problem. It took me about 60 hours +/- to finish this project. Perhaps someone with more experience can do this stuff much quicker, but it's a good time sink! Photos showing how mine turned out. I keep forgetting to buy a battery for the lamp but I don't really care about that anyways.

Great way to occupy self if you have tons of free time

I enjoyed this project greatly. It was very time consuming, and that is exactly what I needed! I am in the hospital on bed rest for a total of almost 3 months after an in utero surgery, and this kept me very occupied for entire days. (I highly suggest trying to market these kits to hospital gift shops! Every nurse and doctor was in love with it and were going to mention the kits to other patients, and even their own family members!) Every time I'd complete one piece I had to do another. All of the finished pieces are adorable and detailed. I went as far as slightly bending the leaves of the plants to give them a realistic texture and shape. I did my best to measure, cut and assemble everything thing. Though, there are some parts that are slightly crooked or have glue showing, I am still happy with the way it turned out. I must note, I have not completely completed this yet. Once I got to the final steps of fitting the wood frames into eachother I learned that the slots inside the lower wood frame attached to the clear plastic does not line up with the wood floor "pegs" that are suppose to fit in to place. Also, the back wall slot for the shelf to attach into was cut much lower than the slot cut into the left side back wall. I ended up having to cut the peg off the back of the shelf so I could still glue it on. Because of floor frame issue I am not able to complete the project until I return home and have access to a cutting tool to adjust the slots. Also going to add that at times the instructions were very vague, even seeming that some steps were completely missing, so I had to improvise.

Omg!!!! This is sooooo fun!!! U put together absolutely everything yourself! From the flower petals to the electric! I can’t live with out a project at all times and I get bored with the basic craft junk but this is challenging and satisfying and the most project fun I’ve had in a long time!!!! And I’m constantly making something! Everything u need is there....the instructions r clear and even have pages for u to match each piece to the paper to double check u have the right pieces. Nothing is impossible or super hard so don’t let the tiny details scare u. U will b suprised how easy it is when u give it a go! It is time consuming but to me that means hours of entertainment!! The clear glue is a little stringy but just let that go till the end and once it’s dry, which should b super fast if ur not using too much glue, the strings and excess glue clean right up. I’ve included pictures of what I have done so far. About six-eight hours in... for some people this may b a bit tedious but for detail oriented perfectionists like myself, I’m already looking at which one I’m going to order next! I went with robotime because I was impressed by their reviews. I’ll stick to this brand and continue to buy these fantastic little projects!!! Definitely not for kids or people who lack patience. But for me, I’m so impressed and excited about it! What a fantastic buy!!!!

This is my first ever miniature kit, and I couldn't be more pleased! The instructions were very detailed and clear, all parts were present and well-labeled, and it was super cute. Some of the tiny signs are so accurate even while needing a magnifying glass to read them! My only criticism (and it's not enough to lower the five star rating), is regarding the little pastries: the clear plastic for wrapping the baked goods was too stiff and made wrapping them almost impossible, and also the wire provided for securing them was far less than needed to do all six pastries, so I had to improvise. But other than that, it is great! The light was also easy to wire, and worked beautifully! I am buying another one right away.

A Delight That Takes PATIENCE!
I gave this miniature 5 stars for its creativity. It's challenging to say the least but so very delightful when finished. If you like gluing wires and paper - this one is for you! The issues were the photos. Some of the photos were not clear and I couldn't see where little pieces go and the directions for connecting the wires for the light were backwards. Overall, it was charming when finished.
