    • Mostly "hollow" = bad for sandy Florida.
The pad looks and feels sturdy enough to support the 300# or more (hence the rating), but will (in my opinion) sink into the sands of Florida in just one season of rains. A base bed of shells may slow it down, a bit. The bottom is hollow with an approx 4x4" square honeycomb of support. Not pictured nor referenced. ... show more

    • Not perfect, but fits my 24k unit perfectly
Perfect size for 24k MrCool unit and inexpensive. Cons: Just has an upper shell of fairly thin plastic. The bottom side is open with a complicated pattern of plastic ribs. This made it harder to level and harder to attach the four anchor bolts for the unit. Some type of toggle bolts must be used and you have to be careful to not hit one of the ribs. So, much easier than a concrete pad, but has it's own set of issues. I'm hoping it holds up for the life of the unit -- I have my doubts. ... show more

Don’t ignore the other reviews like I did! Hollow and thin plastic, opened the box on my front porch and warped on arrival. No idea how to attach my mini split and vibration pads with bolts, as plastic less that 1/4” thick. Referencing the advertised pictures for a clue, discovered they sleazily just set the unit on top without securing it. Could have poured a concrete pad for $12 from my local Lowes or Home Depot instead. Such a shady scam! ... show more
