My dog is a nervous wreck when he’s not right next to me. So this allows me to bring him out front while I’m gardening or just hanging out in the un-fenced front yard. He’s a big strong and stubborn lab/pit mix but the leash has held up even when he tries to lung at a squirrel or tries to meet a passing dog. I bought the red color so neighbors can tell he is leashed and not get nervous. It also helps keep me from running over it with the lawnmower. It’s really long and the clasp is too small to hook directly on to the stake I bought, so I double it up and hook both clasps on to my dog. We went through 2 other leads before we came across this one and it has been great. A literal lifesaver since our yard isn't fully fenced and they will run off. Fast. And faster if you're chasing. I have purchased other ones before but the click on them is very heavy for a small dog so i was looking for one with a small clip so when its on a Pomeranian or a chihuahua its not holding them down even though the click is on their back when they have a harness on. glad i was able to find one, deff will buy more ... show more

I have a mini dachshund. The size and length is great. The old one was way to thick of a cable, but that was the only option I had for a 25ft. It was over kill for my 12lb dog. This one is a good size for a small dog.

These are the perfect size, perfect weight, and the perfect length for my two dogs. My dogs weigh 15 and 18 pounds. I have the cable connected to the same anchor I put in the ground. Because there’s two dogs, the cables get twisted and kink quite a bit so after a year for safety reasons, I replace them. However, when I only had one dog and one cable, it lasted a very very long time.
