Well packaged and delivered. It took us 1 day to remove our old heating and cooling unit and then install this one. The instructions were not the best but we had enough experience to figure it out. The media could not be loaded. Very happy with my purchase. The instructions were a little challenging to follow for me as I haden't ever installed something like this before but luckily many of these minisplits are very similar so a quick YouTube search provided the information needed. You will need to purchase a mount of some kind I hung mine from the wall. You will also need a 410 to 1/4" adapter to connect a standard vacume pump. A drill with a 2 1/8" to 2 1/2" hole saw to go through the wall and possible a power disconnect on the outside next to the unit. Mine is working great. I didn't need the sealant some suggest as there were no leaks from the lines or joints. There is a rippled design on the inside unit that someone else mentioned but it doesn't bother me. I haven't insulated the cieling yet (its in my garage) but it makes a big difference in the Southern Missouri heat and humidity. Great results from one of the least expensive options on Amazon. The thermostat on this thing is completely useless. I've been running it for several months now. The thermostat sort of adjusts how hard it runs but doesn't regulate the temp at all. If it's on heat, it keeps heating, on cool it keeps cooling. The unit will cycle on and off but it doesn't stay off for long periods of time. For example it was 70° outside today. When I started the test it was 70° inside as well. I put my unit on cool and set the thermostat at 73°. Several hours later it was 60° inside and the unit was still cycling on and off and still cooling. ... show more
