The picture looks decent on this projector, but has a tendency to be slightly out of focus on the far edges even though center is in focus. Used this on a permanent 102" screen that I use for my much larger projector, was hoping to get more than 1080p out of this, but couldn't tell any difference with the higher settings. I got this projector to use outside but I honestly have been using it in my room for my little one to watch Miss Rachel when I need a break to do things around the house. Even using it on a light colored wall during the day, it has great color and focus. I have tried projectors in the past and the quality was not great so my expectations were low but this was so much better than I was expecting. Connecting it to my phone for screen mirroring was a little more complicated than I thought. The instructions are probably for a better phone and didn't work with mine. On my phone it's called Smart View so hopefully that helps someone else using this in the future. I also connected a firestick to this projector and found out quickly that this projector doesn't seem to support Dolby sound. If you connect a Firestick and have no sound, you will need to go into the Firestick's sound settings and change it from auto to a sound setting that doesn't use Dolby. I love the carrying case and how lightweight the projector is, making it easy to carry around and use where ever you want. I'm not as fan of the tripod stand and honestly never figured out how to get it to work without feeling like the projector was going to fall off and break. I'm not impressed with the sound quality, it doesn't get very loud and doesn't sound amazing, I would definitely recommend using some other sound device if you are using it outside or in a large area. I’ve always wanted a backyard projector! I’m so happy to get my hands on this 1080p backyard projector. Some things I love about it; •the brightness of the display (hard to see in the picture but it’s bright)! **Pictured is with lights on/off •1080p means there is a clear picture! It’s better than my (older style) tv. Not sure why other comments say it’s not clear? ***Pictured my projector is paired with a 100” screen and is about 11ft away from the screen. It can go up to 150” screen size! •SUPER easy setup with clear instructions. You’ll need batteries for the remote to get started. Took me all but 5 minutes to set up my screen and place my projector on the tripod (which it comes with). • Easily adjustable. • FUN for my whole family! We plan on watching many movies and tv shows out here this summer! 10/10 I would say for the price and quality. •This would make an excellent gift for a movie lover.
