I love this tracker if my car gets relocated like it did 4 months ago and I had to call the precinct to look for the location where they relocated my car due to repaving the roadway the precinct gave me two different locations to find my car was pissed where they moved my car to on the hydrant in the bus stop the tracker definitely would’ve helped

Budget-Friendly Vehicle Tracker

I’ve been using the Mini GPS Tracker for Vehicles for a couple of weeks now, and it’s not a bad tool for keeping tabs on a vehicle without having to pay monthly fees. The idea of a one-time purchase with no subscriptions was what drew me in. The tracker is tiny, about the size of a key fob, and comes with a strong magnetic mount that sticks securely to metal surfaces. I placed it under my car’s bumper, and so far it’s held up without a hitch through several kinds of weather and roads. The kit also includes an extra battery, which is nice since the one that comes installed is supposed to last up to one year. Getting the tracker up and running was pretty simple: you have to pair it with the Apple Find My app, either by scanning a QR code or manually adding it. It’s not as quick as syncing an AirTag but it doesn’t take too long. Once connected, it shows up in the app along with my other devices that I’ve added to the Find My app. The tracking itself is decent but has its limits. Location updates can take a couple of minutes, which is fine for checking where my car is parked but not for anything needing real-time precision. As some other reviews have noted, the accuracy can be off dozens of feet. It’s not as spot-on as my iPhone or an AirTag, but for broader location tracking - like finding a vehicle in a general area - it gets the job done. Still, if you’re expecting pinpoint accuracy or a “play sound” feature to zero in on something small, this isn’t the tool for that. All in all, this tracker is a solid pick if you want a no-frills, cost-effective way to monitor your car or assets. It’s rugged, discreet, and ties into the Apple ecosystem nicely. While it won’t match the precision of pricier options, the trade-off may be worth it for the savings and simplicity.

No real time updates

I do not recommend buying this product it only updates every few hrs sometimes 30 minutes or so it does not give you real time updates. Sometimes I go to check and it shows the last time seen 3 hrs ago so if your trying to keep track of your vehicle then this is not the product to purchase because by the time you get an update it will be hrs later and your vehicle will be long gone before you get another update. It does not track every movement at all

Lag time for detection of locations

It was glitchy and had lag times in between destinations. We used it to keep an eye on our daughter when she was out, but it kept alerting her that she had a tracking device and she found it.
