I got this specifically to cut my dogs rawhides and pizzles and it works pretty darn perfectly. We weren't sure what to expect when it arrived and still weren't after opening the box but, after connecting the battery and trying it, our worries vanished! Everything about this chainsaw feels cheap as the entire body and case is a thin cheap plastic. It feels like it came from china which is, in fact, where it was made. However, the actual chain and sawblade is heavy and looks to be decently made. We tried cutting a pizzle, which if you are not familiar they are very very hard, and a a piece of wood from a fire wood bundle and it cut through both. The battery died right after so we charged them both and they charged suspiciously fast. I did see another review that said the battery kept dying and lasted only a few minutes - I hope this is not the case, however, we have not tried it again yet since charging the batteries. Even if the battery dies after using it to cut one thing, I am OK with it because I only got it to cut bones once in a while. If your reasoning for purchasing this is to cut brush or tree limbs during a weekend of yard work, then obviously that is not ideal. When we use this again, I will update this review. Until then, I am giving this 4 stars. I deducted one for the extremely cheap plastic used .

The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome little chainsaw for the price. It has sufficient power and battery life for some medium to light cutting. It also comes with a pair of gloves but the gloves are too large for me.

I'm so disappointed in this mini chainsaw. I charged the battery, used it to remove a bunch of vines in my back fence. The battery died so I charged it overnight and when I tried using it again, iT LASTED ABOUT 5 MINUTES AND THEN DIED AND THE MOTOR WAS SMOKING. Terrifying experience. Nothing like they show in the commercials. A waste of $30.
