This is a nice starter chainsaw. Its great for me, a widow, for my small tasks that I need a saw for, but am nervous about using a regular chainsaw. The instruction manual does not include everything. I did have to come back to the website to get some set up and first time use information. I knew it needed the included oil. I found that information on the product website trouble shooting guide. I also figured out that you need to push the power on and safety release button together to release the safety. I do like this safety feature along with the blade guard. This mini chainsaw came in a very nice, durable plastic carrying case. It came with one chain already installed, and 2 extras. It also included 2 batteris and a charger. It functions as expected, and is very sharp. It quickly cut through bamboo and tree limbs. For safety sake, I do suggest reading all instructions before operating. All in all it is a great value. I have wanted one of these mini chainsaws for a couple of years. This one did not disappoint. I am very happy with my purchase.

Great product. My husband is not able to do any yard work due to a surgery. There are bushes, trees and flowers I would like to trim. I bought this mini chainsaw because it is light, 2lb including battery so I can do it. I used it to trimmed one tree and cut one tree's root. It worked. It is more powerful than I expected. I am happy about the product and will do more with it. You do need to wear google and gloves (come with) to protect yourself. It has a lock button to provide additional protection so you will not start cutting by accident which is good.

I love this thing. I'm a 77 year old great grandmother. I've been told I'm as independent as a hog on ice. It is tools like this that in part enable me to continue my independence . i use it to cut large pine boughs to feed my goats for vitamin C and vermifuge for my dairy goats. I also use it to cut up the limbs of fallen trees. The goats eat the twigs and bark off once i cut them where they can reach them. The chain is easy to adjust and change. I have had 2 other mini chainsaws. One i gave to a friend who wanted one. The other was stolen . each time i replaced with a better model. I got a fantastic price on this one. Its blade is almost twice as long And heavier as my others.

I picked up this mini chainsaw and it's been a huge help in the garden. It's really light and easy to maneuver, which is great for trimming branches and cutting smaller logs. The cordless thing is super convenient too. The auto-oiler seems to do its job, and I've had no issues with the batteries so far. Worth the money, in my opinion.

This has a lot of power for a small tool. And my oem makita batteries fit this model. The batteries that came with this don't fit in the makita chargers though. But it came with is own charger, and extra chains. Overall a good purchase.

On the left side of the chainsaw when you tighten the replacement chain the chain is tight but as soon as you engage the saw the chain loosens therefore I think it’s unsafe. If you YouTube it it shows there’s a screw on most of these mini chainsaws that you can tighten but there is no screw on this unit.
