I needed an electric, or battery operated saw for some mid level yard work. I had two trees that needed to be cut down, and a big tree with two or three big branches; so I started researching.....Since I already have the M18V battery operated Milwaukee Trimmer and Hedger, I decided to get this one since it uses the same battery. This mini chainsaw is good for mid level tree trimming with nothing thicker than 5" diameter. It struggled with bigger branches to no avail. I still have to cut up the tree and put it in a trash bag and this will not get the job done, I had to buy a bigger chain saw a 16". Overall, it's great for small projects. The build is solid, and it is light enough to use with one hand. I paid < $70 with a discount. I love my mini chainsaw. ... show more
