Am cheap and weary on things for lawn care, went to Home Depot saw they had a similar one like this but was 170….rediculous right. Well the big man didn’t get my coin, opted in getting one from here , compared this to another similar but looks the same , lucky got a good one , cut down branches with no trouble. I do suggest using safety glasses to prevent wood getting in your eye like I did my first go with this lol ... show more

Does not leave a clean cut - looks more like splinters. The tool is lightweight and maneuverable but it leaves a gross looking wood cut on smaller limbs. Also, due to its lightweight, the tool bounces all over the place - a gas chain saw does not do that. I intended to use it to cut kindling into small pieces but it may not work for that. The problem is that the chain velocity is nowhere as high as gas chain saw and that translates into rough cuts. It works best when the limb being cut is attached to the tree and is held fast to the trunk. I live in the forest and often have to climb trees to cut limbs. This tool will work for that since I can handle it with one hand while holding on to the tree.! A tool like this is a must for my situation. ... show more

Just received this mini saw yesterday for my wife, batteries charged quickly, here is her response: today I tackled “native” grapevines up to 3-4” diameter growing wild amongst out trees - one new battery lasted at least 2 hours of just about constant work. The grapevines have met their match - just what was needed. Cut small branches dead or alive super and clean cutting. Would definitely buy this again. Super for getting into tight places that a regular size chain saw might not do. Gets the job done!! ... show more

I'm a senior (75) with smallish, weak hands; I'm also an outdoors person. Due to a severe winter storm 4 months ago, we had multiple trees uprooted and blown down. I was absolutely itching to get out there and cut firewood and clear our property, but gas-powered chainsaws are too heavy and even battery-powered ones wear me out fast. When I first saw an ad for a 'cordless mini chainsaw,' I was ecstatic! I didn't even know such a thing existed! Immediately went to Amazon, did my research, made my choice, and I'm now a very happy woods-woman! Worked right out of the box. I have arthritis and have not been able to cut up some limbs that fell or some privet that was growing out of control. In just a few minutes I was able to cut down 2 fairly large privet bushes and start trimming a downed limb. I could not do this with an axe or pruner because they were too big and hurt my hands. This is GREAT! I know it will take me a while to get it all done, but oh my goodness, at least now I have something that I can work with that doesn't hurt my hands. I've uploaded before and afters of my muscadine vines. 35 mins is all it took with strong battery life. Out of the box I didn't charge the batteries. They had enough juice to get the job done. Fully charges both and was about to knock out the rest of my vines quickly. I wished I had known about this before. I was very impressed.
