This is an effective tool. Don't forget to oil it before using. There is no self/auto oiler. It is not too heavy and I was able to get get a dead shrub cut out close to the ground level. I first needed to cut off about five ~2 inch diameter dead limbs ( in a tight space) which resulted in the saw stopping as the battery charge was depleted in about 5-10 minutes of heavy cutting. I was able to re-charge in about 30 minutes and complete the job cutting off the ~3 inch trunk and a few pieces/slices around the stump. If cutting lots of stuff you may want to get an additional battery but I do not think this tool is designed to be used often. The motor has brushes so for occasional use it is fine. I can tolerate the relatively short battery charge capacity but the safety switch is something I was not accustomed to. Normally with such tools one must press two different switches to power the tool. This has a lockout button and when it is turned on one only needs to pull the trigger to run it. So, I recommend one keep the the tool in the lockout position until just 1 second before cutting. When done cutting immediately remove the battery. I recommend this tool if used occasionally and cautiously. ... show more

Wanted to try a small chainsaw to cut some branches off a tall tree. Thought it would be difficult to use but it was so easy and cut thru 3" branches like they were made of butter. Decided to trim the rest of my trees back and it did a excellent job. Battery was still charged after an hour of use and now I am finished.Thank you!!!! ... show more

I love this chainsaw. It helped me cut down a bunch of small trees in my yard that had vines growing up them. Now I don't have to worry about them removing my siding anymore. It cut well and quick.

    • Mighty Mini chain saw
This mighty little 3 inch saw cut thru 4 inch limbs like they weren't even there, both pine and scrub Oak limbs. It was also super fast taking out the new suckers on my Aspen grove. It is both lighter and easier to get into awkward places than my chain saw. I think I have found my new favorite tool!

We've used this mini chain saw on a variety of branches and have found it easy to use. As a +60 year old woman, I appreciate how light weight it is and seems to be very durable. Battery life is OK, I always want them to last longer than they do.

    • Powerful little hand chainsaw
This little tool was really put to the test as I had it cutting some tree branches that were a little bigger than what it is recommend for. Because of that, I have already gone through one of the chains. My main complaint is the chain comes off the track frequently and you have to tighten it up all the time. Also, probably because I was using it for heavier items than what it was designed for, the chain frequently would get pulled down into the end of the bar which would slightly open the bar and eventually the little post that the pulley on the end of the bar that keeps it together got loose. Very easy to clean, very easy to change out the chain, the safety features work well, it’s not too heavy, And it cuts great! The battery charger charges the battery very well and I’m amazed at how long the battery Goes until it starts to feel sluggish. It’s not a Craftsman or Snap On brand, But can’t beat it for the price and it will get the job done. ... show more
