This little saw is very handy. Rather than using a larger chainsaw to cut limbs that are too big to cut with pruning scissors, this little 6” saw fits perfectly for the job. I asked my wife to put this to the test since she does most of the gardening around the house. She said it was lightweight and easy to use and cut the limb without any issues. I think this will become one of our favorite tools. It comes with two batteries and a charger as well as a spare 6” chain, safety glasses and Phillips head screwdriver to remove the guard when swapping out the chain.     • Great Little Saw, But No Instructions, No Included Oiling Method

I really like this little chainsaw. I have used it for cutting up branches up to about 3 inches in diameter, and it cut through those easily. And each battery gives my around a half hour of intermittent cutting. I like the one-handed design of the saw, and it’s quite light in weight so it doesn’t get fatiguing to use. I’m giving this saw kit a four star rating because I think it works great and the $49.99 price is very good for a saw with two batteries. But there are some negatives you should be aware of that keep this from being a five star item:. • The included instruction booklet is for an entirely different, full-size chain saw. You won’t need instructions for the key items (adjusting blade tension, oiling) if you have used a chainsaw before. But lack of instructions might be a problem if chainsaws are new to you. • This saw does not have an automatic oiler, so you will need to apply a little oil to the chain periodically using a small oil can or oil bottle. But no oil can or oil bottle are included. And, no instructions about oiling. • The included cloth bag is very thin, and there is no sheath to cover the chain, so the chain will quickly tear a hole in the bag. The box has a nice foam insert for the saw, batteries and charger so I plan to store my saw in the box, and use the storage bag for something else. • The product picture shows that you get one spare chain, which is what I received. But the product description says you get “3 x Chain, 1 x Guide Plate Protection Case “. You only get 2 chains total, and I did not get a Guide Plate Protection Case, whatever that is. The bottom line is that this is a nice little saw, lightweight and easy to use, with two batteries. But you’ll need to provide your own device to oil the chain and some users might wish they had instructions on how to use the saw. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This thing is amazingly handy, huge time saver if you're trimming a lot of little branches. It's very powerful for what it is we haven't tried it on anything much thicker than an inch around but it's went through all of that like butter, everything fits like it should into the charger and into the drill I did manage to pop the chain off once it was very easy to remove the debris that popped it off and put it back on and replace the cover All of that can be done without any tools. Batteries seem to hold a charge fairly well , they don't have charge level indicators but we've used it to clear quite a bit of little brush around the garden and haven't managed to run even one battery dead. Comes with a nice little carrying case an extra battery a pair of gloves safety glasses and an extra chain. Feels well made in my hand I don't feel like it's going to break easily, he included chain also seems to be pretty good quality still just as sharp as when it came out of the package. I do wish the batteries had indicators but that's a very minor complaint other than that this thing is awesome. ... show more

This worked out to be pretty much what I expected in a 20V saw at this price point. Generic branding, and very lightweight saw. I got it to do pruning around the property and to take camping for cutting up brush for campfires. It's pretty light duty but will work for those purposes. Batteries (2) came charged right out of the box, and the saw fired right up with one inserted. I tested by using it to trim about a 3" limb from a dead tree, and it cut right through it in under 10 seconds. So the blade is sharp, and the saw has enough power to do what I need. It comes with a carry bag, 2 batteries and charger, an extra chain, subpar manual, safety goggles, a pair of very thin cloth gloves and a small Phillips screwdriver. The not so great: - The manual is a joke. While it have a pic of this saw on the cover, the instructions inside (what little there are) all refer to a gas powered saw. - The whole thing feels cheap, so I question its durability, but only time will tell. - The battery is super snug to insert and won't come out of the tool easily. You have to basically hit the battery with something while pressing down on the release button to get it to move. - There's no oiler built in to the saw (not expected) so can only be used for brief periods and will need some manual lubrication to keep it working well. ... show more
