this is my first chain saw and who knows. It they are as strange as this one I don't know. First of all the battery life. I charged the battery twice and got 20 minutes in total out of the device on weeds mostly. I think I read it can cut 4 inches, not sure about that one. It sored to super hot doing less than 2 inches of wood sticks. Now my biggest complaints, The housing is plastic, very unstable. When I tried to tighten the chain it took some effort to get it together again after removing the nut. The Battery, being plasticv is very diffacult to remove. I have no problems with safety features but two on one device. Why does the battery need a slide to separate. The plastic sticks and is hard to remove. I will think about future chain saws if the future is in plasticv which in my ofinion is more unsafe than metal housing since it does not stick. I will keep it because it is used barely. It may do tree limbs. The goal of a tool is to help the user. It may get better in the future. Also, I am a lefty which makes this tool very diffacult because it is made for a righty. I'm glad I spent only $35 for this device which is what I thought when I bought it at the time. I didn I didn't get this posted from 2 days ago so I will add more. The Battery must be dead because I can't get more than 2 minutes out of this thing. It looks like tools are not Amazon's forte. I am a great Amazon customer but this device is not even usable. I can't get my work done with it.

I got this mini chainsaw because I have a few items that needed to be cut. I have a regular size chainsaw, but I had never used it before, and it is too heavy for me. I have 2 trees in my back yard that I had contacted tree companies for pricing to remove. One is bent over almost to the ground after a storm and the other is leaning into another tree, so it hasn't fallen yet. The tree companies wanted $250 to cut the bent over tree and to toss the pieces into the woods right behind it. They wanted $350 for the leaning tree. I got the mini chainsaw because I thought that I could cut it into pieces myself and put them in the woods. THIS CHAINSAW IS WORKING GREAT!! First, it's so lightweight that I can operate it with one hand, which is a huge help. It also saws through the wood surprisingly fast. It even cut through parts that were thicker than I thought it could handle really easily. I got the top half of the trunk cut off in just 20 minutes. I sawed the longer branches off first in about a minute each and then sectioned the trunk and cut that. It was easy enough to do and then toss the pieces into my woods on the back part of the property. It also charges really quickly too. I will finish the rest of the tree once it stops raining. I can't wait until Spring because I have some branches that I need to trim, and I have a woodworking project that I can use this for too. I included a before picture and an after shot of the trees in question and what I cut. I'm very happy with this item.

It's not super powerful but with a one hand saw I don't think itd be safe to give it too much speed or strength. cuts through branches and small logs (i cut up to 4 inch thick with it) with relative ease. Got jammed a couple times with smaller twigs and wood parts finding their way into the sprocket but removing one nut and opening the cover was simple enough to do in order to expose the sprocket and remove said jam. Being mindful of how you cut and making sure the chain is tightened a bit more than factory will help eliminate this issue. I would have liked a lubricant reservoir to be included but I don't think the chain spins fast enough to generate sufficient heat to damage it or the bar. This also saves on size and weight too though. Cuts for about 20-25 minutes on a 2ah battery. It can kick back or "jump" a bit if you don't maintain stability and cut the wrong way. It's not as mean as a full size but it's easy to start and has enough power and maneuverability to get small jobs done quickly. Other brands might be tougher/faster/nicer. But this does well for the price (I picked it up at around 35 dollars) I have in mind to get a battery powered full size saw in the near future for bigger jobs, but considering what it is I am satisfied with and happy to have it as a tool option in my aresenal.

I bought this thing in 2023 due to the low price point, high ratings and good reviews. Brought it camping a few times. Total garbage trash. With a full charge, it worked for maybe 10 minutes tops before it didn't have enough power to to not get stuck. I was only cutting through small trees that were a few inches thick. The thing got jammed and I had to pull the chain off in the field to clear the jam and the chain safety cover popped off and the bolt flew off somewhere. Okay, no big deal, worked without it. The "version" I purchased only came with one battery, and was an "oil-less" version. I just attempted to use this after charging the battery to cut through some scrap 1/4" plywood to throw in the firepit today, and it immediately got bogged down and stopped about 3" into the cut. This thing is trash. I should have just spent a few more dollars for a real brand. Would not recommend this thing.

This thing is just great! It can cut small size trees, branches, limbs, etc. I use this in our lawn and tree care business daily to cut small trees down and reduce brush piles. Easy to hold and use. Has a safety cut off when something is too thick or gets caught. Only issue I've had was the battery sometimes gets stuck and has to be banged on something to change it out. Other than that it works perfectly. Would recommend this and would definitely purchase this item again!
