I got this mini chainsaw because I have a few items that needed to be cut. I have a regular size chainsaw, but I had never used it before, and it is too heavy for me. I have 2 trees in my back yard that I had contacted tree companies for pricing to remove. One is bent over almost to the ground after a storm and the other is leaning into another tree, so it hasn't fallen yet. The tree companies wanted $250 to cut the bent over tree and to toss the pieces into the woods right behind it. They wanted $350 for the leaning tree. I got the mini chainsaw because I thought that I could cut it into pieces myself and put them in the woods. THIS CHAINSAW IS WORKING GREAT!! First, it's so lightweight that I can operate it with one hand, which is a huge help. It also saws through the wood surprisingly fast. It even cut through parts that were thicker than I thought it could handle really easily. I got the top half of the trunk cut off in just 20 minutes. I sawed the longer branches off first in about a minute each and then sectioned the trunk and cut that. It was easy enough to do and then toss the pieces into my woods on the back part of the property. It also charges really quickly too. I will finish the rest of the tree once it stops raining. I can't wait until Spring because I have some branches that I need to trim, and I have a woodworking project that I can use this for too. It's not super powerful but with a one hand saw I don't think itd be safe to give it too much speed or strength. cuts through branches and small logs (i cut up to 4 inch thick with it) with relative ease. Got jammed a couple times with smaller twigs and wood parts finding their way into the sprocket but removing one nut and opening the cover was simple enough to do in order to expose the sprocket and remove said jam. Being mindful of how you cut and making sure the chain is tightened a bit more than factory will help eliminate this issue. I would have liked a lubricant reservoir to be included but I don't think the chain spins fast enough to generate sufficient heat to damage it or the bar. This also saves on size and weight too though. Cuts for about 20-25 minutes on a 2ah battery. It can kick back or "jump" a bit if you don't maintain stability and cut the wrong way. It's not as mean as a full size but it's easy to start and has enough power and maneuverability to get small jobs done quickly. Other brands might be tougher/faster/nicer. But this does well for the price (I picked it up at around 35 dollars) I have in mind to get a battery powered full size saw in the near future for bigger jobs, but considering what it is I am satisfied with and happy to have it as a tool option in my aresenal. ... show more

Actually a very handy little saw for under 6 inch limbs. Put a little 3n1 or bar chain oil on chain and it runs like a champ. Keep it clean with air compressor. Respect it as any other chainsaw. Looks and handles like a toy. It is not!

Soooo I’ll just say,,, looked to be a great price! Came with two batteries, an extra chain, a case, a charging cable.. perfect price for what you get so we ordered it.. I procrastinated on some limbs but used it this past weekend.. Y’all- this little thing is just a godsend compared to a pruner! I went out front and it handled perfect on saplings and all those low sitting branches! I found myself cutting everything I needed to (having fun with it lol) and THEN,,, well then I realized I had to haul all of it to the back tree line lol. I genuinely had “fun” using it. I only used one battery too.. I will tell you to grab a pair of safety glasses though, in fact they should probably be included- your so close to the branches since it’s so short that you will have shavings all over you; but you won’t care because it’s awesome haha. Recommended to a neighbor and they love it too! I would actually snap a video but i didn’t feel right with my nose in my phone while operating a chainsaw 🙄😂 Seriously though, I highly recommend! No joke! It’s not often I come across something that I am this excited about! I will actually consider these as gifts come Christmas time! True statement! Don't let the small size fool you, this is a work horse of a tool. I set out to clear a lot of branches and small trees from my back yard thinking I would do a little, change the battery (got 2), do a little more then wait for charging. I cut for at least two hours on one charge. The smaller size allowed me more control over what and where I was cutting. Plus the lighter weight allowed me to hold the flexy branches with one hand while I precision cut with the other hand. I was able to cut all the branches I needed to. I think the biggest ones were about 2.5" diameter. I love this little chain saw! ... show more

I used this to trim the limbs on a bunch of trees in my yard. It worked well, however sometimes the cuts were not as clean as a full blown chain saw but for 40 bux I can live with it. A few cuts were jagged and I had to go over them a couple of times to smooth them out. It will cut through a good size limb with ease. I lot of power for basically a cordless drill. Battery life was excellent as well. I cut a lot of limbs from the trees then I cut them up in to small pieces and the 2 batteries that came with it never ran out of juice. My only criticism is I am lefty and the device is made for a right handed person (but as lefties we r used to that) the release button is located in a spot on the left side that almost forces you to use it exclusively with your right hand. It's a minor inconvenience not a deal breaker. I would highly recommend if u have some limbs or small tress in your yard that need pruning / removing. 40 bux vs 500 for a tree service is a no brainier. ... show more
