This has been most helpful in clearing the low branches from my driveway, although I did have to stop several times, but I was cutting limbs larger than I should. After short rest, it powered through and made it through the other side of the house until I ran out or power. 5 loads later and I should probably charge up, because now I want to clear the dead branches just because I can easily do so now! This mini chainsaw works really well. It is well built and sturdy. I really put this thing thru its paces as I have over 10 acres of jungle to clear. I used it almost every day in a harsh environmentand and it did great. The two batteries allowed me to work up to 4 hours in the bush. It cut down 2 to 3 inch diameter trees lickity split. I also was able to fell larger trees with multiple strategic cuts. The trick is not to force the saw. but let it do the work at a comfortable pace. If you push it, it will overheat and shut down. Well eventually it did fail. The motor fried. I did work it much harder than most folks will. I contacted the seller and they honored the one year warranty, no questions asked. They sent me a new saw and it came within a few days. That is excellent customer service and makes this mini saw every bit worth the cost. They are really a top notch company! ... show more

This tool arrived super quick. Batteries came partially charged, but could work for a shorter time as-is. Took a couple hours to charge fully. Chain tension was correct out of the box. Put a little oil (not included) on the chain before starting. Used it to trim some big (5" diameter) branches of a tree. Worked great. Super fast cutting. Works best if you move the saw in a sort of "sawing" motion, otherwise the chain sometimes gets stuck. It cut through the branches in less than 15 seconds. The "safety" switch which allows operation remains in position without having to hold the switch, so operation is an easy trigger pull. After first use, the chain stretched a bit and needed adjustment. Cutting with this tool was a delight. The only downside is that all chainsaws throw a lot of chips everywhere, so it gets messy. Plan accordingly. The model I bought came with lots of extras (xtra chain, xtra battery, bottle for oil, etc). This is not the tool for small branches (less than around .5 inches). ... show more
