Seems like a great product, so far. Instructions easy to follow, but read completely before use. Chain adjustment is very easy, but practice at home before learning on the job. Do not over tighten the outer bolt! After adding oil, first use very successful. Cuts 3 inch tree limb with ease; used for about 30 minutes without depleting battery. I really like the light weight, well balanced with battery, easy one hand operation. I have used a gas chain saw for many years. This little saw now does 90% of my work. Much easier! The reservoir is great, easy to fill without the need for periodic manual oiling. NOTE:Do not over tighten the chain adjustment outer bolt! The chain will stretch during the first few hours use, this is normal for all new chains. The inner bolt has a cam under it, that moves the guide plate outward to tighten the chain. The outer bold need only be hand tightened, do not over tighten. After a few hours use, the chain will stretch to its working length. Future adjustments will be less frequent. Remember to press the oil button with each fresh battery installation. This keeps the chain oiled while traveling on the guide plate. ... show more

I like the auto lube feature and I don't see how you could do without it. I've been clearing trees. Everything above 3" becomes firewood and I cut it with my 14" chainsaw. Anything between 1/2" and 3" goes into my chipper. I cut off anything smaller than 1" with my loppers. But from there to 3" I cut with this saw, which is very handy. Unlike the videos you see in other reviews, don't hold a branch in your hand and cut out at the end of the branch. Put it on something firm and use it as a real chainsaw. It works much better and cuts very quickly and easily. Don't let the chain touch the ground or you will dull it. Otherwise, chains last a very long time. I discovered that MY MAKITA BATTERIES FIT THIS AND WORK ON IT. I get about 30 minutes of cutting, which is about 1 to 2 hours of actual intermittent use per battery. The Makita batteries last longer. So I get a full day from 4 batteries. ... show more

Great little saw. I use it all the time to cut firewood and trim several large trees on my property. I have 2 larger electric chain saws but this is so much more convenient to use. The only drawback is the two batteries it comes with. They don't last very long. I have to change batteries almost every time I use the saw. This product is great, much lighter and easier and faster to use than a battery powered sawsall I had been useing. I have 15 acres I need to trim back the fence line. This product is making short work of it. The only bad thing I have found is in the literature, I did not find the number of links in the chain, or the width of the chain. (I wore out one already) However it did a substanstial amount of work before it wore out..I am not a person to spend 2 hours sharpening a chain when I can buy one for 8 dollars or so .(waste of my time ) Several replacement chains available, how ever you need that info to purchase spares. The manufacturer does not seem to sell replacement chains. Also I am technically challenged and do not know how to add a screen shot ( sorry I will endeavor to learn in the future.) Battery packs plug right into a charging wire, no lugging around an extra heavy charger. Nice hard case comes with it to keep all the componets in one spot. Easy to clean and oil.Assembly and chain tightness are also super easy instructions to understand. ... show more

This hand-held chainsaw is light weight and surprisingly powerful. I used to trim my tree branches with electric chainsaw which is about 10 pounds with arm strain. But with this little tool, you just use one hand to operate the chainsaw and use the other hand to hold the tree branch. That makes the cutting much easier without arm stain. It takes only a few seconds to cut a few inches diameter limb. The mini chainsaw kit comes with two batteries and two spare chains within a hard case. It takes about an hour to charge the battery. But there is no charging status indicator light on the battery and that is not an issue since you have two batteries to work on. This is the perfect chain saw for trimming small to medium size branches. It is easy to use. Like all chain saws you will need to tighten the chain the first few times you use it. So much better than using my gas chain saw for small jobs. Nice that they give you two chains and batteries.
