I am 66 , and in good shape, but a fullsize chainsaw is a bit much for me. Conversely, every time there's a branch to trim, I don't want to have to call someone in. I bought this, and I loved it until it died this week, just 8 months after I got it. It was NOT used terribly hard, and with current economic conditions I don't know if I can afford another if it's not going to last. While it worked it was great so I'm really disappointed it died this week JUST when I really need it. ... show more

A very light, inexpensive and useful gadget w good battery life. Two drawbacks. No oil reserve so if you need to oil the chain, carry oil w you. And the screw to adjust chain tension is inconvenient and easily stripped. Nevertheless, I like it.
