Great machine but takes some getting used to , it has to be ground balanced and set on each setting you use . And I had a problem with headphones not connected. But already found a nice ring with it

This metal detector finds even the smallest of targets without difficulty. The settings are easy to follow when you read the instructions, and you can look up tutorials on You Tube as well.

I've been holding off on doing a review until such time as i can actually get out and use my new detector for a bit, but sadly, I've only been able to check things out a bit so far. Reason I'm doing this now is because I've received several "ever wonder if your reviews are getting noticed" emails asking me to do a review on this. Otherwise I would of held off for awhile before actually doing a review. Now I'm just an amateur hobbyist when it comes to metal detecting. For years, I used a cheap Bounty Hunter Pioneer 202 which I got around 30 years ago and was excellent for finding stuff. Now it's just a piece of junk which I'm lucky if it even works. This new metal detector X-Terra Elite, I haven't really had a chance to use it other than to try it out a bit and see how it works. I still have a lot to learn on how to use it properly. I really look forward to using this metal detector when I get the chance. From what I've seen is that the handle is collapsible for easy storage and for stowing when traveling. The multi-IO is great for sensing items and the ability to distinguish different metals along with other features. The two coils are great, an 8 inch for more accuracy for smaller items near the surface and an 12 inch for finding deeper items. The Pro Finder for finding what you've located as you dig it up. The head phones appear to fit comfortable and the bonus is their wireless connectivity. With a little luck, I might be able to find my wedding band which fell off my finger while doing yard work about a decade ago.
