I purchased this minelab 900 detector for my husband's birthday when he saw someone using one on the beach and after talking to the person they highly recommended this one. He had another older brand that was years old and this one just blew him away for the ease and accuracy of use. He has taken the pro find pinpointer by itself sometimes when we go a short drive to the lake. He is still learning on how to use it because he is old school he is not into "tech" stuff but he will have it all down soon enough.

Ease of Use – 7/10 The Equinox 900 comes with powerful features, including simultaneous multi-frequency detection, adjustable recovery speed, and multiple search modes. While these make it incredibly effective, they can be a bit overwhelming for beginners. However, the factory preset modes allow for a more straightforward start without requiring extensive adjustments. Weight & Comfort – 8/10 Weighing approximately 2.8 lbs (1.3 kg), the Equinox 900 is relatively lightweight, though extended use may still cause some fatigue. The adjustable carbon-fiber shaft provides flexibility for different user heights, improving comfort during long detecting sessions.
