    • Metal detector is great and works as good or better than expected
Nothing wrong with the Equinox 800 and I would highly recommend. If you take time to set it up it discriminates as advertised. I bought the bundle to get the 15" coil for the beach and I'm happy with it as well. The rest of the items in the bundle not worth additional money. The pin pointer did not work, but the vendor was very responsive and sent me a return label. I was able to get it to work by putting a piece of rubber under the battery so that it would make contact so I kept it but still not happy with the pin pointer so I bought a Garrett Pro pointer AT. The headphones worked the first time that I used them but the second time out when I pushed the button to turn them on the button came loose inside and they have not worked since. I recently purchased a new set of headphones. The WM 08 wireless module is of no value or use as it is not needed if you have a set of Bluetooth headphones. Regardless of the accessories, the Equinox 800 is a great metal detector. ... show more
