    • Can’t beat Minelabs for performance & Service
This is my very first review ever. The reason is not only the performance of this state-of-the-art detector that has outperformed every White’s I have ever owned but the outstanding customer support. I just returned from a long planned vacation in which my brother (who used my old White’s) and I spent a week in Savannah Georgia metal detecting and fishing. After the first day the screen of my CTX3030 went dead. I called Mom belabor and got Jamie Moeller. She shipped me a new CTX over night and I shipped off my unit for repair. This item is as described. Probably the best wet/dry detector out there, and waterproof to the hilt. Item was shipped promptly. Started finding coins the first day out on the beach. Found a small kids gold ring the third time out.

Mine lab had gone gold fever on US ! There Newest Same tech pennys on the dollar to build yet they have 11x"s the price. 4.25 solid OZ of Gold to have one minelab has used it users ! high tech is at bottom dollar shame to goldfever for even using the minelab tech to racketeering of Gold people to supply mine labs monopoly or price of 4.25 oz of solid gold to pay for there over priced 500.00 cost 5700. min gpx5000 shame on gold fever and Mine lab. you should know they have used gov funding or us tax payers now turn on us with bottom dollar high tech costs way less and they 4xtime the cost cant beleave my long time gold fever tom is going down this road tom did you give 4,25 oz of gold for yours and then another 700 for batt pack and better head 6400.00 wow tom shame on minelab gold fever WOW must be the Greed great product just marketing price 11 x"s the act cost of one then they sell you $700.00 more to get what you thought you already payed for shame !!!!! please buy for another company !!! ... show more

WONDERFUL metal detector. I would DEFINITELY not use regularly in water. I think it is okay to take in water on occasion, but I have gone through three of these detectors from water damage. I would say it is more water resistant. The detector is AWESOME on land though.
