  • nice little fan, very handy and glad to have it in the M18 stable
What can you say, it's a fan.. right? Well this little guy has some key features: AC adaptor included with the one I got, will run the fan great on all 3 speed modes, but doesn't charge the battery if you have one onboard. Just be aware. 3 speed modes from mild --- to "outdoor in the summer over a hot deck ready". This guy will move some air for a small fan when on high. Room to fit the common 5ah or still fit a new 9ah pack while sitting flat on the bottom (barely on a 9ah). 12ah may be too tall to sit flat. Will run a LOT on a 9ah if you have one to spare... I mean like the whole work day on the highest setting without much issue. 2ah packs will net you near an hour reasonably, but logically will be longer if you run on low or medium. Nice column of air moving out and gives the unit some reach. Kind of like a flashlight that fits between a spot and flood... it feels like the goldilocks ratio. I am glad to have this unit for under 70 bucks, I wouldn't pay any more for it though unless I had to. Cons: Construction is decent but not the same bombproof that milwaukee tools have reputed themselves to be. I think for the conscientious user or the homeowner/hobbyist there's nothing wrong with strength of this unit. The adapter is not the easiest to store with the unit, I eneded up wrapping the wallwart up and using velcro to keep it lashed to the fan when on the go. In a shop or other enviroment this may not be a concern I would gladly buy it again, or buy another if I catch a good deal to warrant it. ... show more

  • Great addition to any job site!!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve had this fan for about a year, the battery life is excellent using m18 5.0 battery. Haven’t had an issue with it running out while using it. Build quality is also excellent. The fan has been dropped a few times and is still working just fine. I have even had it rained on once or twice without any issues to the motor that I can see. Very tough little fan and would recommend it. ... show more

  • Excellent Fan.
Milwaukee always does it right. I use this around automotive work and everything else. A bit noisy on high but let's face it, it is a somewhat compact fan and fully portable. You can either use it with a battery or just plug it in with the included adapter. The fan does not charge the battery you have to have a charger for that purpose. I would recommend this to anyone. You can even use this sitting in a hot vehicle to keep the air moving. Wonderful. ... show more

  • Game changer
Doesn’t have hooks to be able to hang but they are not necessary. Fan housing can be tilted up or down to reach any area. Very forceful unlike the competitors : Dewalt, Ryobi, Craftsman. Truly a jobsite fan. We purchased to use at little league baseball practice and games. My husband already had the 18v drill that came with 2 batteries. Very well built and comes with a 110v AC cord if you want to save on battery life. Speaking of battery life, 10 hrs on high speed! It cost a few bucks more but well worth it! ... show more

  • Works Flawlessly, and the Battery Lasts Forever
My brother brought his version of this fan to the beach, and it was a game-changer. Since getting my own, I've used it at the beach, in my shop, and even in the camper to help the air conditioner push cold air around. I can't say enough how awesome the battery life is, but if you're in a position to plug it in it's just endless air from a small package. I will say you're not going to have a homemade tornado with this little guy, but if you've pointed it directly at yourself and you're not more than 8-10 feet away from it, you're going to love this thing. ... show more

  • Typical Milwaukee awesomeness
Battery powered fan. Simple concept, executed extremely well by Milwaukee. Awesome for use as a mechanic. Can pop it right in the engine bay, or your service cart next to you, to keep you cool even when its 95 degrees out. Simple, 3 speed switch seems rugged and isn't needlessly overdesigned. It feels like this fan will last forever, or close to it. With a 5.0 M18 battery, I got 3+ hours on high speed, which is quite impressive. Excellent power on high as well. Tilts to blow in any direction. Well balanced. Blade is well protected. Also comes with an AC adaptor so you can plug it and run all day long. I've had this fan and used it professionally for 3 years now and it still looks and functions as if brand new. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Not a bad product
I just received the Milwaukee Jobsite Fan and I am pleased with my purchase. It is a well made fan, very heavy duty and with the 3 speed switch I'm able to adjust the force of the blowing air according to the need. This fan will be used in smaller areas as it doesn't blow hard enough to give comfort in a larger area or to more than one person. But this is to be expected simply because of it's size. Also, I only gave the fan 4 stars because of the design of the AC cord & plug. It is not integrated or fixed to the fan. The power cord is thin and flimsy and plugs into a adaptor on the back of the fan. Also, there is no way to store the cord with the fan so I can see that if the cord stands up to a construction site over time, it will probably get lost. I'm sure Milwaukee will sell a replacement? At a cost!! If you have a need for a cordless fan to use doing short timed projects, this is over all a decent product. ... show more

  • Best battery/plug-in portable fan
If you could only purchase 1 fan only in your life, this might be the one to buy. I did my research and found that this is the best, most powerful, battery operated fan, which can also plug into a wall with no battery. So, this is apparently the most powerful fan that you can take anywhere. The only downside is that batteries for this are expensive and the fan has no place to really store the AC adaptor; however, you can make it work with the velcro that is on the cord. Other than that, great fan! ... show more
