When maintenance brought one of these little heaters when my big heater went out a few weeks ago, I laughed. I thought I was that little heater going to heat my house? EDIT: Albatross has offered a refund and I accepted. Good customer service like they gave is exceptionally rare, and a refund is a delight! Please test your heater quickly after you get it and contact Albatross if anything is wrong. They will do whatever they can to fix the problem. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Make sure that you test the heaters immediately upon accepting the package. One of the two heaters failed us when winter arrived, but we were beyond the warranty period.

Lasted one season. Used for 4 months and now the fan has stopped and the heater sparks as the fan tries to turn on. The metal is so thin the handles can be bent by a baby. It's absolutely junk.

it does it's job and so i'm happy with it. However, the knob for on/off broke after a while. it is thin plastic and didn't stand up to being turned on and off. very frustrating - and the company didn't offer a replacement part for the knob. so, with a lot of research, i found a generic replacement from another company and it fits perfectly. that product is a 3418 Replacement Control Valve Knob for MH9B Thru 2008 Buddy Heaters. also sold by amazon. as said. reasonable product but be prepared to replace the knob.
