We have a skylight that lets in too much sun during the summer, making the room hot. This blind arrived 12 days after I ordered it, all the way from China! It was made to the exact dimensions I ordered. It was easily assembled (just 4 screws to join the frame and 2 screws to attach the handle). I opted to install it from the roof, first removing the skylight. With the use of clamps to hold it in place, it was easily screwed into the skylight wall. I am pleased with how well it functions. The blind moves easily in the frame and doesn't bind thanks to rollers and strings that facilitate smooth balanced movement of the lower edge of the blind. Recommended.

My husband measured the box opening of our skylight window and submitted to the company. It came faster than promised. I was shocked at how great it looked and worked. We ordered the pole for easy open and close which frankly made the whole cost a bit pricey. You could probably make a pole yourself but we chose to buy. At any rate I’m very surprised at how nice it is. The paper accordion is a bit flimsy so you have to be careful when opening and closing so as not to tear. I’m not sure how long it will last and if there are issues over time I will update but so far very pleased Oh I my husband added some weather strips on 2 small areas where it didn’t quite meet together and that worked great
