I was looking for a sturdy glass mug with a comfortable handle that doesn't get too hot to hold. This is made well, looks great and the handle is as described. It seems pretty indestructible, perfect as I am getting a bit clumsy getting on in age. My only issue is that it really only holds 10 oz of liquids. If you add cream or sugar it's close to the top. Nice for a quick little cup of tea of joe, but I prefer a nice big-sized mug for most days. I would love it if it came in larger sizes, like 12 - 14 oz. This came nicely packaged with no concerns about breakage. But bigger would be so great. Please consider my suggestion as I'm pretty sure many others would love it too. ... show more

    • Very sturdy but notice that they aren't double walled
These are my ever-ready clear mugs for AeroPress. They can easily take the downward force of AeroPress because they are weighted at the bottom. Double walled ones I often find gets bunched up for "lunch time cleaning" and I've quite a few of those when layering/frothing are important. However, AeroPress is all about multiple cups of great coffee as I enjoy the morning breeze and the Sun. ... show more

They are lovely glasses, but be forewarned ordering glassware through Amazon. I could hear my glasses clinking around inside the soft envelop. They fell out of the cardboard package within the envelope and were rattling around inside. One of them is chipped on the lip. They are lovely medium sized glasses perfect for tea/coffee, but Amazon just throws it's stuff around without regard for contents it would seem. ... show more

I've had the first set since the end of January so, 6 months. That's one of the original glass cups in my photo. I've etched a design on it and although I only hand wash these, it looks brand new. I drink tea from these, all day, every day and frequently reheat them for a minute and a half in a 700 watt microwave. I also put them on an electric warmer in the winter. I've had zero problems with them, and bought 2 more sets to etch and give as gifts. I actually thought I would hate them when I ordered them but got tired of trying to guess whether or not my old mugs contained lead. I've been very pleased with these mugs. They don't stain either!
