This is a great thermal camera because of the high refresh rate and big screen. When I received the camera it worked really well for 3 months and then the clicking shutter mechanism stopped working causing ghosting artifacts on the camera. The manufacturer honored their warranty and I was sent a replacement very quickly (I had to provide proof of purchase). The screen is bigger than it seems on the pictures, which is great for people with not so great vision. it records video to an SD card which can be swapped in and out. It came with an sd card, I think this is better than options that have built in storage. The battery life is pretty good. I have not tested the waterproof capabilities, but it looks like it can hold up under rain for some time.

I got this as a gift to my son in law who is planning a number of home improvements. This will be very helpful to identify various hot or cold spots for insulation, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues. Plus I can borrow it when I need it! I tested it out for a few days to make sure how well it worked and I was pleased with it. It’s not the best one out there but for the price it has some very good features.

I didn't know how much I needed a thermal cam until I had one. Perfect for monitoring engine temps when tuning carbs. Or hunting down air leaks around the house. I found a huge draft coming through the corner of the garage using this cam. I could see exactly where the air was getting in. The draft left long blue and black streaks across the wall. Sealed it with spray foam, no more cold drafty corner. Seems very well built with a good sized screen and clear picture, super easy to use. Only knocked off one star for not having a replaceable battery and no case or lens cover for long term protection. Otherwise I absolutely love using this cam.

It’s pricy but it’s already saved me a lot of time. I’ve been able to easily trace ductwork through walls in my house. I found water leaks through wall/ceilings. Found where I need to bulk up on insulation. This being my first and only thermal camera I don’t have anything else to compare it to but I’m happy with it.

Interesting thermal camera, sturdy and easy to use. Its product quality is pretty good, feels like impact hammer in hands. I bought it to detect the insulation issue of my house. Clearly, my door needs a change lol. Besides that, I found it is good to be a cat finder as well:)

I originally purchased the TR10 model and didn't like the clarity. So I ordered this TR256E and was blown away on how much more detail the images are. Very impressed. Would like to see Mileseey maybe include a protective carrying case with this unit.

had high hopes for this thermal camera, but it has been a huge disappointment. The image resolution is far lower than advertised, making it hard to identify details. The readings are inconsistent, sometimes showing wildly inaccurate temperatures compared to a calibrated device. Battery life didn’t come close to 12 hours as claimed, and the user interface is clunky and unintuitive. For this price, I expected reliability and accuracy, but unfortunately, it failed to deliver. I cannot recommend this product.

This camera is much better and easier to use than the types you have to pair with or plug into your phone through a USB or wifi connection. This comes with everything to get you started, including a 16 GB memory card. It also includes a USB-C charging cable but no wall adapter. After charging and holding the power button, it takes about 26 seconds before it is fully up and running, providing a visual display and readings. There are a lot of settings and descriptions that you can fine-tune for your application by looking through the manual. When you take your time and slowly go around what you want to investigate, you receive a wealth of visual information. You can easily pull the trigger to take a picture or even change that to taking a video instead. All this gets stored on the removable memory card. I consider this a tool that any handy homeowner should have. It's not extremely expensive, but when used, you'll quickly be able to identify areas around your house, inside and outside, that could be of concern. Looking at your walls, you can usually see your studs depending on the time of day, but more importantly, you will see areas with a thermal difference that you can address to help make your house more efficient. I find myself at night walking around rooms in my house, identifying heat sources, and unplugging things that really shouldn't be plugged in unless in use. I find wall adapters that are not used but plugged in to create heat and draw electricity. During hot days, Look at your walls inside. During cold days, go outside and walk around your house, and you will be surprised at what you may find leaking out or poorly insulated. This also would make an excellent gift for whoever you bought this for. They would be surprised, and it's something that would get used often.
