This can connect directly to your phone or through an included extender. The extender wire is especially helpful if you have a case that prevents a snug direct connection through its USB-C port. The extender wire is also necessary when using the handheld mount. The handheld mount functions as well as it should. There is an app that needs to be installed from the manufacturer's website. After that, connecting is pretty easy. Just turn on the app and have the camera directly connected. The app is easy to use and navigate and gives basic functionality. It gives pretty good thermal imaging, it is better at medium to long range than close range. There are various color filters and zooming options, there is also a focus that can be turned at the end of the camera for better focusing. Overall I like it, but would like it a lot more if there was PC support and an app or way to get the video feed. Then it would be really cool to be able to hook it up to a home camera system.

I was sceptical when i purchased because the unit is so small but wow i couldn't believe how clear the image was. I was ablebto identify deer at 400 yards and also raccons at 300 yards. Just have to know the anatomy and how the animals act to positively identified at long distances. But i would definitely put this up against most 380 resolution sensor out

The media could not be loaded. Very good thermal camera, it comes with a high quality carrying case. It fits perfectly on my Android phone, I downloaded the app and installed it on my phone. It also records very clear video. The focal length of the lens can also be adjusted so that you can see more clearly when you are looking at a distant or close object. Very pleasant shopping experience.
