This fence gauge is strong a durable. I cut a small 4”x4” piece to see if i could tear it with my hands. The fact i could not told me it is far better than the usual junk sold at Home Depot or Lowe’s. I installed a long barrier in the forest using nails n various trees to discourage deer from walking into my property n destroying the shrubs. It’s during the height of winter when the deer will come n destroy shrubs especially if there is a snow pack. One thing, during install be sure to leave about 12” free at the bottom as I’ve seen the deer numerous times in panic take their noses and life under the fence subsequently ripping it from the areas it’s mounted. They then just push their entire body weight under the fence. By leaving a foot of fence at the ground you can then place rocks/ boulders every 4-5’. As far as deer just walking, when they encounter this fence the heavy gauge n thickness, and height sufficiently force them to go another way. I refuse to lose my shrubs this winter, and this fence will ensure that. Hopefully you have some trees nearby to mount the fence to, as using nails makes the job much easier. Good luck!

We are very happy with this purchase. My husband and I have worked with many types of fencing and were planning on using stretch metal fence for our garden. A neighbor uses the black plastic for his chicken run and so we decided to look into it. We settled on this brand because of the price and reviews and were so pleased with it that we recently added more. It is smaller squares than we expected but is extremely durable and easy to use. So much quicker and easier than metal fencing. It is also virtually invisible! If looking from a distance it looks like there is no fence there at all which is great for us because it doesn’t block the view. We used staples and zip ties to secure it to 8 ft cedar posts we had set. It is hard to get it perfectly tight but using the zip ties you can get it pretty darn close to tight on every run, and being that it is so see through it isn’t en eye sore in any way. We loved working with it. It went up so quick, with little hassle. The only thing that was a drag was that it comes folded in half and rolled, so you have to unroll and unfold or unfold as you go. We had one of the kids help us with that part and it made it go smoothly. Highly recommend giving this a try for garden fencing, and we are about to use it for our chicken run as well, with chicken wire over the bottom for predators…. We will see how that goes!

Great at protecting our summer garden from deer. We have removable corner posts with wire at the top and wire at the bottom that we attach the fencing to. Works perfect for us. No deer in the garden. This is only our second high fencing in 21 years.

We are making a section for a pumpkin patch that the deer hopefully can’t demolish. It goes up easy. Using zip ties to 8’ T posts (about 16-18” in the ground). There is a crease in the center that’s hard to pull straight but it really doesn’t look bad at all. Will try to update in fall once there’s pumpkins inside and hopefully deer staying out. So far I’m loving it.
