That's why we created Peet's Café Domingo Medium Roast Coffee to pay tribute to the time-honored pastime of lingering in the café, casually sipping an expertly brewed cup over conversation. The three Latin American coffees in this carefully crafted blend were selected for their balance and brightness, and the roast fine-tuned to brew the perfect medium-bodied cup. We decided to name it after our third café, opened by Alfred Peet in 1980 on Domingo Avenue in Berkeley, in the shadow of the Claremont Hotel. For more than three decades, Peet's regulars have gathered here to enjoy hand-crafted drinks and the camaraderie they inspire. And that's something worth commemorating.

Truly a very good cup of coffee. Ive had many many cups of coffee over time and most disappoint for one reason or the other. Lately I have been trying different brands and they always comes up too bitter - I have to add salt and more hot water etc. But honestly, this tastes so good! It's not bitter or acidic. Tastes fresh - has a unique flavor, almost buttery. I don't have to do anything to change it. It was on sale so the cost was affordable. Not sure what the full cost is, but I really like it so it would be worth it. UPDATE: today the cup of coffee was a little too strong. idk if it’s the mug I used or the coffee.     • My favorite, even if it’s a bit pricey!

This is my favorite coffee compared to others I’ve tried. The flavor is smooth, rich, and just consistently good every time. I do think it’s a bit expensive, but for me it’s worth it, it’s my little treat. Sometimes you just want something you really enjoy, and this is it for me.

Being from the Bay Area, I feel we have a more eclectic palette for coffee than most. Many of us do not do Starbucks, but my story on Starbucks. I went with a friend and she got me a black coffee. I couldn't finish. It was so bad. I figured out why customers do all these sugar pumps of crap for your system. It's because the coffee is so bad. I compared Pete’s process with Starbucks coffee beans, both decaffeinated and caffeinated. It's much healthier process of Peet’s than Starbucks. Starbucks used, not sure now. A chemical process, not a water steam. I stick with Pete’s or if I do change, I go with Louisiana brand coffees with chicory. I'm waiting for Pete’s to do a chicory. Hint. Hint. I like this particular café Domingo coffee because it's so smooth. You get the strength of drinking a cup of coffee, but it's not bitter.. The finish is really almost sweet. Most of the time I'll drink some coffee to get started in the a.m. and tried a lot of different ones. I used to enjoy Folgers Kcups until I found out how they make and grade their coffees. I stopped buying it and tried Peets, based on internet feedback from several sites. The 2 I was told were really good are Peets Big Bang and Cafe Domingo. The Big Bang was good but the Cafe Domingo was like turning on a light switch. It was better than I hoped for. The taste was good and no acidity that usually can ruin a cup of Joe! It's smooth, has a good flavor, and got me to make a 2nd cup, which I never do. I make my coffee with light cream(16oz half and half mixed with 9oz heavy cream) for areas that sell it as "light"(no, its not diet, just less fat). No sugar. I tried milk and sugar in my coffee when I was young and it revolted me. Cream and nothing else! This coffee will not disappoint! I like it so much I ordered a big box of Kcups of it and tossed the coffee I wasn't crazy about. Truthfully! I heartily recommend this coffee. ... show more

For a MEDIUM coffee this KCup packs a caffeinated punch. WOW!!! I set it for 8oz so that may be why. Great tasting grounds regardless. Will definitely get you going. The box however is just brown verse the brown and blue pictured here.

My regular coffee k-cups increased a lot in price, so I decided to try this one (Peets Cafe Domingo). SO good! Perfect strength, not weak but not too strong, and no bitterness at all.
