Easy to put together as stated in the description. I loved the handy door that I can open at the top where the handle is to put my cat or dog in when I need to take them to my vet. The twist clips at the top fo the door makes it easy to release the door on the front of the carrier. One thing to watch out for is the sharpness of the metal edge on the top cover where the handle is located. I really like these carriers. Looks as pictured, came with all the pieces (I took a chance based on other reviews,) and easy to put together. I ordered 2 size small carriers. One of my cats is 7lb, the other is 11lb. I was concerned my bigger cat wouldn’t fit but seeing her next to it, it’s a perfect size for her with room. Not sure how sturdy the hooks would be for a strap, but I don’t plan to utilize those unless no cats are inside. I really like that you can choose which way you want the door to open. ... show more

When I receive them once of the cages was broken, however, it was easy to put them together. Nevertheless, I wanted to put 4 cages in the back seat and they did not fit. They look durable. I liked that you were able to open the door from both sides.

I already had this carrier but purchased another since we have two cats. It collapses easily for storage, the door can come out completely for easy entry and remove of pet. The top can also come off very easily if pet cannot be removed through door conveniently.

I bought this pet carrier only to find, during assembly, that there were no hinges for the front door included in the packaging. I arranged for a return and ordered another, hoping it would arrive with all the parts. Alas, the second was also lacking the door hinges. I called the manufacturer and was told it was a known problem, and was somehow due to Amazon's repackaging of the product. Whether that was true or not, Midwest mailed hinges the same day and they arrived very quickly. I'm very pleased with the carrier. I like that the door can be opened from either side, and find the fact that the top opens especially useful for getting a reluctant puppy inside. ... show more
