I’ve used these a few times and they held up well. They have multiple lengths that they can be set at. They have a built in locking mechanism to prevent from collapsing. I like how it can be set at multiple different positions for aim adjustments. Great product

Its mostly plastic, I thought it was aluminum, but that was my fault of lack of research....I slapped this on an AR-10 and was pleasantly surprised...it holds up... I do see some future weak points between the metal pin and plastic divets it falls into, but it's working fine for its purpose for now. I do wish it went one more notch lower. It works well, but with 20 round mags or less, one more notch down and you could put a 25 or 30 round mag. But you can't. Either way, I would recommend this product for your occasional shooter, if you're slinging mud, running and gunning, I think you should get the actual metal name brand one. But overall good product and very happy with the price ... show more

Likes: comes oiled and feels smooth on the leg action moving to different positions, easy to manipulate legs one handed, flush fitment install and no overlap rubbing against other attachments like a rail cover, springs are well sprung lol, four extra screws, clear instructions with attachment tool (hex wrench) Dislikes: feels cheaper to the touch than the utg bipod for example, would rather see an extra mlok attachment than four screws (maybe two screens and one mlok would be ideal), once locked in place theres an acceptable but noticeable flexing that isn't as locked in and tight as the UTG (still serviceable nonetheless) ... show more

Bought this out of curiosity, and event though I can't use it for my original intention, there are other uses for these. The only things that are alloy are the leg extensions and the locking mechanisms. EVERYTHING else is plastic. Now, it feels like a decent plastic, and magpul makes a lot of decent stuff out of polymer so I am willing to give this a chance until it fails. The locking mechanisms are tight though, tolerances are good and for the money, not a bad airsoft or even .22 bipod. I have been a fan of the dual monopod design because it can get completely out of the way when collapsed for shooting off of barriers or bags or when using a foregrip or when a bipod wasn't applicable. ... show more

I need a side mount, have a grip with light and laser on the bottom. Standard bipod was in the way. The only issue I had out of the box was the mounting plate had a raised edge and the nuts had a raised edge for the mlok. My rails are thin so the it was loose. I turned the nut around so the raised part was out. There was still a raised edge on mounting plate so it worked great. Nice and tight. This is a steel.
