  • Higher quality than you'd expect for the price.
I expected these to be low quality but good enough for what I needed. I was surprised at how nice they actually are. I don't know if they'd hold up to a combat situation but I don't plan on seeing combat. These went on my competition 22LR and honestly I love them! Very sturdy, easy to use, lock into position well and work very well for what I use them for. ... show more

  • Experimental purchase turned into complete satisfaction
Was super pleased with this bipod set. The Mlock design worked well with the forend of my custom build competition rifle. The ability to adjust these independently of each other helps when your shooting surface is not level and the ability to lock the adjustment between the presets by use of the thumbscrew makes them all the more productive in competition. These will definitely be “on the board” for my next custom rifle and as a seasoned competitive shooter I recommend them highly. ... show more

  • Can’t feel too bad for the price
It’s a good bipod, it did, its job, and looks great, but specifically the mounting portion of it could be better constructed with a more durable material. When mounted it seemed great but after a day at the range it felt as if it became lose even though it wasn’t which led me to tighten the hardware and crack the polymer mount on one side. (This was mounted on a rimfire rifle) ... show more

  • These are not made of plastic Fred
I bought one of these about a month ago and like it so much I bought second one. I was reading the reviews and someone said these were all plastic, not so these are all aluminum only the feet are plastic, I scratched just to make sure. I have three other picatinny bipods that are much wobblier, this one is mounted to and M-loc rail and is much sturdier. These should have no problem handling recoil up to a 3006. If I was jumping out of planes into WW3 I might want one of those $400 jobs on my $10,000 rifle but this looks like it will do the job for anyone on a budget with an M-loc slot on the forend of their gun. ... show more

  • Great value
Works well, all metal. great price. Not a magpul, but pretty close.

  • Good stable design, poor execution
The design is sound, however the construction is very poor. The main m-lock mounts are made of a non-reinforced plastic that cracked while mounting! The crack formed from the flat head hardware acting like a wedge in the countersunk hole. It was installed with a wheeler fat wrench set to 15inch pounds. A button head screw in a flat bottom recess would be a better execution, or make the bases out of aluminum. Which I may end up doing as the leg themselves feel fairly sturdy with a good positive action on all the adjustments. These would be good for entry level airsoft, or other uses, but should not be used to support a real firearm as they’ll likely fail under recoil. ... show more

  • Attached is a list of what exactly is plastic and what is alloy
Bought this out of curiosity, and event though I can't use it for my original intention, there are other uses for these. The only things that are alloy are the leg extensions and the locking mechanisms. EVERYTHING else is plastic. Now, it feels like a decent plastic, and magpul makes a lot of decent stuff out of polymer so I am willing to give this a chance until it fails. The locking mechanisms are tight though, tolerances are good and for the money, not a bad airsoft or even .22 bipod. I have been a fan of the dual monopod design because it can get completely out of the way when collapsed for shooting off of barriers or bags or when using a foregrip or when a bipod wasn't applicable. ... show more
