I love Downy liquid! But I was trying to buy a bottle with the older shape and size, especially the shorter cap. So I can fit it on my shelf. This should be what is pictured - Ultra Downy. However, what I got is the newer 3x freshness Ultra Downy.

I purchased this Downy because it was affordable cheaper than I've seen elsewhere. Most of the Downy products are over-priced so I don't purchase them. But I do love how the product makes my clothes smell.

I love the smell of Downy and how it frees my clothes' of static cling and makes them feel soft, so why the 3 star review you ask? It's just too expensive and I've noticed this particular product is super thick going into the wash and leaves a build up in my machine. I will most likely continue to use it on occasion but I feel like I want to finally try some other brands to have a comparison. ... show more
