I spent a good 2-3 weeks reading the reviews for this computer and the brand new one. I finally decided to settle on this referb, it was the best decision. I received the laptop in the original manufacture’s box, no damage what so ever and the laptop itself looks brand new. Zero cosmetic damage or wear at all. It doesn’t look like it was touched let alone used. It took maybe 30 minutes to turn on and update fully to windows 11 (it could also be due to me having fiber), so no complaints there. First, the color is just beautiful! I upgraded from a MacBook Air. It is so much faster even though it isn't the latest model or the most powerful. I can use multiple applications (word processor, spreadsheets, photo editing) at the same time without impact on processing speed. It can handle all I throw at it with ease. I payed $799 for renewed. Was very skeptical about purchasing renewed for this price because new one costs $1,399 on Microsoft right now. Came brand new or like brand new, sealed and AMAZING! So far the only difference I noticed is the packaging. It says certified refurbished on the sealed box, but I learned long time ago if it’s Certified refurbished it’s basically new.
