I bought this scooter for my granddaughter. She is 5 years old and was growing out of her first one. She loves this. It rides well, the brakes work well, and it is really cute with the lights. I can't comment on the durability, since she has only had it for a couple of months. It folds down, which makes it easy for traveling. Also, the handle can be extended, so she should be able to grow with it. It was more expensive than most of the competition, but she loves to ride her scooter, so I wanted to get one that would last and fit her age.
