We recently redecorated our entire downstairs at our home. We wanted something that was more aesthetically pleasing than our old, worn out, giant sectional; so we decided to go back to a traditional couch and oversized chair. At first, we were going to buy a coffee table; but we wanted something to put our feet up on since we were accustomed to having recliners. After spending days visiting furniture stores and hours searching online we came across this POLY & BARK Gio Modern Leather Ottoman Pouf. It was a little more than I initially wanted to spend; but it appeared to be high quality and had the look we wanted....so we ordered it. This was hard for me to order a piece of furniture online because I am one who likes to see it, touch it, and feel it in person. But, we took a chance. I am SO GLAD that we ordered this! It is a beautiful piece of furniture. The leather is very soft, yet seems to be quite durable. The wood finish looks good and has no discoloring or imperfections. We did put some leather conditioner on it and it may have darkened very slightly; but it is still a great looking piece of furniture. The height is perfect to kick your feet up on or to use as a coffee table. We use a large round coffee table/serving tray when we need to serve drinks or snacks for guests. Everybody that visits remarks how beautiful this ottoman/table is. It really was the perfect item to finish the room. It is well worth the asking price and will bring a little class and character to your room....and its very comfortable and useful as well!

No assembly was required. We opened the box, pushed it out and dropped it in front of the couch. It's very nice and makes the perfect foot-stool or extra seat in our small living room. We have been using it for a few months and are very happy with the purchase. No storage, just a straight-forward design. No too soft or hard and the leather is nice.

First, this is one of the nicest piece of furniture I have purchased in years...the craftsmanship and quality, fit and finish, is well beyond the price. I did find the color to be yellow in tone (the color in the description was not accurate), not cognac, as noted by other reviewers, to point that I had to return the piece to seller as it did not match the living room. However, they were professional and timely in their response, and did cover the return shipping which is greatly appreciated. If you are matching furniture this may be a challenge, but if a stand alone piece I have no doubt you will absolutely love it! I can only imagine this piece becoming even more beautiful with age...

The ottoman is exactly like the picture. And the dimensions are correct. I could not be more pleased with my purchase. The color is exactly as pictured and the quality is superb. Very beautiful piece. I basically formed my living room around it. Love it. Only reason for four stars is it already scratched. I do have three kids but figured it would last more than two weeks. Still love it. Seems like the stitching will hold well. Good quality leather. Comfortable and soft. Nice and thick. Was easy to put together. Works great for the purpose of putting out feet up. Might get a tray and use it a a little table too. Was expensive compared to others. But I just loved the look so much. It is not a storage ottoman. But I wanted something to show off my rug too.
