This arrives fully assembled. As you can imagine, the box is very large but its packaged well with cardboard inserts and a protective cover. I'm really happy with the quality of the piece. Finding a real leather ottoman has been a challenge. Not vinyl, plastic, faux leather, pu leather but real animal hide. Its a nice saddle brown color and everything feels like quality. The feet are quality, the materials are quality, the struts (real struts, not the cheap metal clasps) are quality. The storage is very large and its nice to sit on too. I'm surprised and very happy that this was available on Amazon. You would expect it to come from a good furniture store. I have been looking for a leather storage bench for the foot of my bed for EVER. I am so happy I found this. It is the perfect size and the quality is superb. The price point is extremely fair for what you get. Only minor annoyance is that the hydraulics are sooooo slowwww. If I don’t supervise it closing completely, my cats tend to jump in and we have no idea until hours later. It comes completely assembled and is the perfect seating height. A lot of others I was looking at are lower or have a smaller storage with longer legs. I’m able to fit 2 sets of king sheets with extra comforters with space to spare. ... show more

It’s a beautiful piece and seems to be well made. My only issue is the leather is the same color as the couch yet they don’t match. The ottoman is slightly lighter than the couch. I guess that’s what you get when you order furniture from Amazon.

It came right on time, no assembly required, and looked just like the picture. The cushion wasn't as soft as I thought it would be, and the lid stays open but not at a 90% angle (more like a 60-70% angle). It does scratch and scuff really easily, but that's part of its charm. Giddy! It arrived on the early side, matches the Rivet chairs, apparent high quality (much higher quality leather than Rivet chairs, pre assembled, roomy storage. Hard to open from the front but just grasp the sides to open and all set. Recommend!
