Unit was installed less than 2 weeks ago and I am seriously premature in sharing operating results but I wanted to hopefully offer guidance for others. Customer support for simple things like lost parts is ok. The electrical install should be straightforward but their diagrams make it confusing to all but the person who wrote them. Customer service took great pains to get me in contact with an engineer. I had to communicate with him via What’s App which was slow, stressful and frustrating but ultimately fruitful. Basic source of problem - for some reason they show the pump being connected through the 220 heater. I have a 110 pump and had no desire to do that so I left it connected separately. The existing Pentair Easy Touch system became a power supply - not controller - for the heater. They say 50 amp breakers are required You cannot connect loose wires into this as shown in the pictures as it is a permanent outside installation. A waterproof conduit is required and it is a bit overwhelming for the flimsy plastic cover plate for the electrical connections. Have to drill a hole. Connections seem small for recommended 6 gage wire. O ring or spade connectors necessary for the wiring connection. Unit is very quiet - much quieter than my old obsolete non- functional 120k BTU unit but also considerably smaller. Unit took much longer to heat water than the old unit - 3 days to get pool from 68 to 80. (Cool nights). I hope there has been a great improvement in efficiency vs the old one as it cost $15-20/day to run. (First world problems!) Did not want to install the Chinese Tuya App but the removable wired remote is not for daily use. It, the wiring or cover plate will break. Good news - the app is simple and works well. I program the pump to run twice a day for 4 hours via my Easy Touch control box which is all the filtering I need. More good news is that the heater - if set to run on the App - will operate automagically when the pump starts and establishes line pressure. When the pump shuts off, the heater will stop for lack of flow. Operation wise - so far so good. ... show more

This heater truly surprised me! High perfoming unit-heats fast. Water output is 2-3 degrees higher then input from the get go. Istalled on April 12th, ran 4 days (12 hours each day during daylight to maximize my solar system energy use) in 60 degree weather and got my 15x30 semi-inground from 58 to 82 degrees! I swam at the end of day 2 and it was already 75 degrees warm. I had to clarify wiring instructions with Micoe team via email and they answered in 6 hours with clear instructions! Great pool heater. I had some installation issues and the customer support team was incredible. Using for a 10k gallon semi-inground pool. The control panel only worked for 15 days it doesn't turn on and when I contacted customer service, they replied that the return period had already expired and that the recommendation was to put an extended warranty, that is, I have to solve the problem of their equipment with my money.
