When the MICHELIN Commander II tire was released it set the standard in terms of tire life, almost doubling the life that consumers would see from its competitors. In addition to long tire life, Michelin has incorporated MICHELIN Amplified Density Technology (ADT) which increases responsiveness. Commissioned third party tests conducted in 2011 on public roads comparing MICHELIN Commander II tires, Metzeler ME880, and Dunlop D407/D408 tires in sizes 130/80B17 and 180/65B16. Individual results may vary depending on motorcycle type and operating conditions.

This in my opinion is the best riding tire for my 2014 indian chieftain in all weather. I've had Dunlops, Metzler and the michelin 3's but the commander 2's are my go to tire. I live in Washington so I ride in the rain more than I like.

I bought this tire because two of my friends have this same tire. All three of us have the same bike (V-Star 1100 Silverado). One has 15,000 on theirs, the other has 12,500 on theirs. I had Metzeler ME888 Marathon Ultra's and hit the wear bars at 6800 mi. Both tires are relatively close in price. I am hoping to double my life span with the Commander II's. I just bought this tire . Its hard to know anything concrete until you had it a while . Its a well established brand so i feel confident it will be ok. I order a fair amount from amazon but they will bug u to death for feedback .you cant really judge anything till you have had it a while

Used before, like it’s longevity, worst case scenario prices going up like everything else. Be nice to be reimbursed by doing these reviews for products, but I guess that won’t happen.

    • Don’t buy this brand of tier
The tire took a tremendous amount of weight to get it to balance and still at high speed there’s a slight vibration Not happy after paying the price for the tires and then the shop for installing them
